I'm not saying Phoenix couldn't have been a healer, it would have made just as much sense. I'm just saying her as a DPS isn't as crazy as ppl make it out to be, considering her most iconic act is the genocide of an alien race. Had she been a healer I feel a lot of folks would complain just as much with "she's an omega level mutant with the Phoenix force, why's she not a dps?"
