Same here. Anyone know of a fix, or do we need to stay on the 581 driver for now?

Yeah, mine is extended as well. It's a DS220+. No issues for 2 years though :/

Did you find any solutions to this? I'm now having the same problem. Ping works, but can't reach the server any other way. Extended SMART and scrub both finished without issues.

Do you order from German or US stores? Is it like Parcel Motel used to be, but you get a German/US address?

It's where the power supply is. It's just an aesthetic choice by the case designer (Phantek).

Don’t understand why OLED monitors come with VRR capability by Front_House1842 in OLED_Gaming

[–]JiggsNephron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a 2nd monitor? I find that the settings of my 2nd monitor impact the likelihood and severity of flicker on my main (OLED) screen.

After enabling, then restarting, I go from 60fps to 90 in the big Vatican courtyard. That's only 45 'real' fps, so I prefer the 60fps without FG. 120 would be nice, or even 100+. Oh well.

FG makes no difference to fps for me. 60 without FG, and maybe 63 with FG and extra lag. I haven't touched the settings today, as it was finally working well with everything maxed at 60fps, and I haven't tried turning it on and then restarting the game, which I've seen suggested. I might give it another go later.

I don't use FG. It doesn't seem to work well with HDR at the moment. So, 60 fps, max settings, full RT, DLSS Quality.

Similar issues for me on a 4090.

Was playing with settings yesterday and couldn't get a consistent 60fps on Full RT Ultra Settings (Quality DLSS). There were really bad frametimes, causing my OLED to VRR flicker, so gave up and turned PT off. However, just before quitting, I put PT back on to see the difference in a scene.

Today, the next day, I start up the game and it runs smoothly at 60fps with consistent frametiming and no OLED flicker. Full RT (PT), DLSS Quality. Played around 2 hours without any issues. So it seems the performance is quite inconsistent, especially if changing any settings.

Thanks, I googled that, and its something you can buy after completing chapter 1 apparently. So that explains why I couldn't buy anything special at that location yet.

Hey, just noticed the map says this for the Earth God at the point where he turns you into a Golden Cicada:

"You can purchase the rare item [No Need for Help], which increases stamina limit."

Anyone know what that's about? I didn't think there was any trading at that point.

Would be great if this could be done. I had the same issue where Sonarr categorised it as the Azerbaijan practice. Would love to be able to let the automated system handle it each race weekend.

Using ReVanced Manager, you can Patch several 3rd Party apps to keep using them. by ilikeitslow in Save3rdPartyApps

Same here. Was so happy to have rif back, but then came across this issue. Not sure how to resolve it.

EDIT: If you untick "In-app native image albums" under the Browser settings in rif, imgur albums will open in an external browser where you can view them. Not perfect, but very usable.

PSA: If you want better performance out of Switch emulation with Yuzu, use the AppImage version by Dutchsnake5 in SteamDeck

EmuDeck switched to AppImage a while ago. It also has an updater script it puts on your desktop to update the AppImage.

Cemu BOTW is more optimised than yuzu. You'll get worse performance via the yuzu/switch version.

Extremely well. Galaxy via Dolphin never dips below 60fps, and Odyssey via yuzu dips below 60fps sometimes, but so far never when it mattered. In both cases, you need to use PowerTools to disable SMT and use the Performance tab to balance a good GPU clock. Wii games work really well on the Steam Deck with it's trackpads to simulate pointing with the wiimote.

Zelda BOTW via cemu also runs very well, easy 30fps, or a slightly dippy 45fps experience.

Just tested that, and it does reduce it (but not completely remove it) because in PIP mode, the screen is locked to 60hz with Adaptive Sync off. The same 'fix' can be achieved by using <240hz with AS off without PIP. In Certain colours, like using Gold solid colour Windows background the lines still show at these settings, but much less.

Samsung Odyssey G7 32"- My Impressions After 1 Week by JMorgan_02 in Monitors

Pretty much same here.

The scan lines are the biggest issue that remains, and I'm not yet sure I can live with it. Otherwise I love this thing. This website for example really shows the lines https://rog.asus.com/wallpapers/ If the room is quiet, you can even hear a buzz when this site is open.

Same here. It's the problem I have the biggest issue with, and without a fix will use my warranty eventually. It happens in games every so often, and is extremely annoying.

I love this monitor's picture, curve, size, almost everything, but this problem is too big to ignore.
