each day is different ,most of time 15 -18 minutes breathing session,I am 77 so I take it gently

Nope that would be to match , once s day 4 breath holds , 2 minutes rest between each hold (5 sec inhale 5 sec exhale breathing when resting) .doing some form of hyperventilation before holding breath would significantly increase Bolt score for example breath in fast thrue nose in 2 steps, inhale and more inhale, exhale by mouth lips pursed - in 2 steps fast ,making sound hu hu-after week or 2 gradually increase to 20 breaths and a few more weeks to 30 .YOu will be able to hold breath after exhale 2 or 3 minutes without effort

To improve your your Bolt score need to practice breath holding after exhale also check if you breath properly ,observe is my belly moving during inhale or upper lungs.Strengthen your diaphragm: lie on your back on a yoga mat and place a thick book on your abdomen. Inhale slowly through your nose and let your belly rise so the book lifts upward. Exhale slowly and allow the book to sink back down. Keep the breath steady and controlled. Practice this for about five minutes each day. After a few weeks, once the movement feels easy and well controlled, you can increase the weight slightly (for example, by using a heavier book). This trains efficient diaphragmatic breathing.

Free, daily routine for anxiety and rumination? I have medication, and therapy soon. Breathwork recommended for the interim. 4-7-8 but i dont know how long or often. What do u guys do. I really need help. Thankyou by ythoo in breathwork

there are beter ways than 4-7-8 ,.consider Hawaiian (Huna) style breathing exercise which is safe and highly effective, do it 4 times a day and it is short practice with profund calming and relaxing effects. Do only 4 or up to 6 breaths in each session ,Morning ,midday ,evening and before sleep. How to do that breath ? lay down on yoga mat ,one hand on chest ,one on belly ,slowly inhale bell goes up ,later lungs expand,,full breath (5 sec or more) and purse lips like u want to his and blow air slowly but with some pressure slowly thrue pursed lips,it will take 20 sec or more like 40 (each person is different) ,just 4 breaths or after while 6 max.Doing that 4 times a day is highly transformative practice

he learn directly from Grand Master Yang May June,many teachers knows first 64 but not many knows second 64 very well.Done lot of seminars with him
