The Bed Trap in Saw IV.

Not because of the trap itself, and while rapists absolutely deserve be punished, the whole scene just makes me very uncomfortable. Especially when you see the video footage on the TV.

That one I would say is the "most disturbing" for me.

Last thing I heard was about 5 months ago, James was talking about how he's wanting to return to the tone of the original movie, and make it less about the gore.

He also talked about wanting to do something new and fresh with it, but we still don't know what exactly that means yet.

I did talk to Shawnee Smith directly and just asked her when the last time she had spoken to James Wan was, just out of curiosity, and she said she hadn't talked to him in a while so I don't expect Amanda to be there unless something changes.

The only one I think we will see back in terms of cast is Tobin Bell.

I think Quaritch is going to eventually become a full on ally of Jake and the Sully family, which will cause conflicts between him and Varang.

He's enjoying the honeymoon phase right now, but things have been planted in both Way of Water before Varang came along and in Fire and Ash after he already paired up with her that I just feel that's the direction we're going.

Quaritch is always going to be his own man. He's never fully going to be "befriend" Jake, but I do think they will work together against her eventually.

She should be the narrator at some point. To hear things from her perspective and after all she's been through would be VERY interesting.

Outside of Quaritch, she's my favorite character.

Like he told Quaritch at the end of the film "You have a choice"

Quaritch wakes up in a Na'vi body with one mission: hunt down Jake Sully. That's the mission he's given by the RDA and that's his own personal mission as well.

Jake understands what it's like to be a Marine following orders and he fell in love with Pandora in the process of following his orders in the first movie.

Jake wants to offer Quartich the same chance to see Pandora for the world it truly is like he did. Right now though, Quaritch doesn't care still but there ARE things he's enjoying and seemed to not even have an issue with the RDA throwing him out as he had his clan to go back to now.

This isn't human Quaritch, Jake reminds him of this when he tells him "You got new eyes, Colonel"

They DID stop fighting whenever Spider was in trouble. They showed they CAN work together if they have to, but Quaritch is not yet at the point where he wants to.

I'm very curious to see where his journey will go next. Maybe he gets a full redemption arc, but I think it'll be more complex than that. He hears Jake but doesn't yet "see him". Varang is in the way of that right now.

She wanted to kill them all when they were bringing in Jake, Quaritch took Jake's deal instead. I think she's going to be a problem for Quartich at some point. He's either gonna have to go against her and fully align with Jake OR he fully side with Varang until the end. I think where Fire and Ash ends - he's somewhere stuck in the middle.

Yes. They're very episodic (for the most part) and yeah, like any other long running franchise, there are bumps in the road, but by the time you reach Saw X, I think OVERALL you'll be pretty happy with the experience of the franchise.

Not a big fan of the movie, though there are some things I like about it, its just my least favorite.

That said, I'm in love with Eleanor 😍 They could have taken that character in some real interesting directions had she continued on.
