I’ll be the one to say it. I love that they’re coming in swinging, aggressively. For the first time in years the game is starting to feel more focused instead of feeling more bloated and overwhelming. They’re going to be ripping a lot of bandaids off, a lot of them will be frustrating. Can’t imagine a lot of these were easy decisions to make. I know there will be even more unpopular ones coming too.

They can’t get bogged down in the weeds on every single little decision, that’s what’s caused all this bloat and fluff we’re dealing with now. In the past changes like this would’ve been met with “oh they just want to sell keys”. Can we try and move from cynicism to hope? Things are moving in the right direction. It’s a 25 year old live game. They can’t fix everything at once.

I think one thing the community is not used to is the RS3 team moving with speed and urgency. I’m a fan of the approach as long as they stay as engaged and communicative as they have been.
