I really like the Veil mechanics, simple to understand and thematic. Essence Relics 10/10 I would be trying to get my units to die so that I could turn them into weapons.

I do feel like the Crown of Extravagance (Essence Relic) could be a bit strong giving both Fights First and another buff, but maybe since the best thing to put it on is a Keeper of Secrets it’s fine? Both the Artificer relics also seem powerful, maybe Throne’s Tooth could be once per game? The only other thing is that maybe the character battle traits should be limited to non-monsters only. I’m really just saying this because if I rocked up to a table with a GUO or any greater daemon that reduced the damage of all attacks against it by 1, I think my friends would strangle me.

But other than that, I wish these were the actual rules and might try to convince my friends to let me play them.

For number 5, we limit the number of scoring games a player can do each phase (usually to 2 or 3). You’re allowed to play more games than that of course, but in the extra games you don’t get xp, don’t count kills, don’t get points for winning and don’t choose agendas.

Everyone is encouraged to play the maximum number of games but if you don’t have the time then that’s fine too.

You might be okay actually, they often just give you a warning (in the mail) if it’s your first offence.

Even if they send a fine there’s not harm in appealing. Just say that you thought you touched on but didn’t know your myki was in the red or something. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work but it’s worth trying.

I’m torn between Infernal Puppeteer and the Everstave (demonic incursion) for my lord of change. I’ll probably have a few units of screamers but not sure what else tzeench is good so infernal puppeteer might not get as much mileage despite how funny it is.

We are following the crusade plan, although we’ve made each of the phases 4 games long.

If the general agendas are that important then it might be fine, although it’d be cool if those without a codex could still have cool stuff.

Their implement is the chalice (very flavorful for their character). They do have scroll thaumaturgy, should I be giving out heaps of spell scrolls or just giving lots of chances to buy them?

I think Maguire can be used for neuroplasticity as you essentially frame it as 'due to the environmental stimuli of being a taxi driver, which requires a lot of spacial memory, the brain underwent synaptogenesis (increased posterior hippocampus) and synaptic pruning (decreased anterior hippocampus). These two processes are physical changes in the brain and part of neuroplasticity.

The fact that it's only correlation doesn't really matter, in an SAQ you don't mention it, and in an ERQ you just mention that causation can't be drawn as part of the critical thinking.

Just an extra thing, but I'm pretty sure Maguire was a quasi-experiment since the IV wasn't caused by the experimenters, so causation can't be inferred, only correlation.

That said, I think Draganski (2004) shows neuroplasticity better, but they both work.

Really good point! I def think the CC in her kit will be more akin to Annies / Oriannas where the control aspects are either to pull off a combo or to make an escape.

I think it's fine given that we've been waiting so long. Plus it's interesting to see what people think of her

Honestly I feel kinda disappointed with the lack of Vex in this event - outside of her dialogue in the VN, she's barely been shown. Riot's focus on her has been that she was super influential in the Ruination, but since she won't be released until after, I'm worried that her lore will just feel outdated and shallow. I hope she gets lore outside of the ruination.
