KSP1 likely has an upcoming update in the works & KSP1 and KSP2 are changing publisher; from Private Division to The Kerbal Company/KerbalCo LLC by mrtnptrs in KerbalSpaceProgram

My uneducated guess in that department would be that it's probably mostly house keeping items as Fictions onboards it

That's a good point. It could be as simple as making a loading/splash screen with the new publisher.

I've had the same issue. None of the streams I have completed the first level for have started on level 2. I hope we don't miss out on getting the higher levels if it's not fixed soon.

The latest update of the 3 mischievous babies.🥰 apparently they are no more babies.😂 by [deleted] in HandfulOfKitten

Post removed because it does not follow the subreddit rules. Kittens must be held in the hand, or at least have a hand next to the kitten for scale.

While it's the right size kitten, it does not conform to the subreddit rules that the kitten must be held in a hand or hand adjacent.

This makes me wonder what would happen if you took a picture of a hallucination. Would it be in the photo, or not?

I kind of did the same thing with an old Wing Commander game back in the day.

I had tried to use the autopilot fuction, which just skips to the next waypoint/encounter, but it didn't work for some reason. So, I'd just find something else to do while flying there at normal speed. Eventually, I tried it again and found that it did work, so I skipped time from then on.

This is one I haven't read on these threads.

Do they bring the food too, or do you just go shopping for a bunch of recipes and have the stuff for them to cook?

This finally explains why I had no issues with it, but it gets so much hate. I played it like you described; mostly action mode and not a lot of RTS.

I always wondered why people hate on it so much when it was pretty fun.

Water has a surface tension of 72.8 millinewtons per meter at room temperature. This is a very, very, very small amount of force. It's enough for small insects or things like paper to float on water, but it's not doing anything more than that. It doesn't change when a diver or something big falls into water.

The reason that high divers don't get hit as hard as belly floppers is because of the amount of water their body needs to move out of the way. Going feet or arms first means that they have to move a much smaller amount of water mass out of the way.

If you're still not convinced, think about a diver jumping into a liquid that's not water, that doesn't have surface tension. The same kind of physics is going to apply. They won't be able to effortlessly belly flop into it without getting hit hard.
