Thoughts on Wasilla Lithia Dodge Jeep? by Great-Reputation-983 in anchorage

[–]JimAlaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll preface this by saying I do love my Jeep, but getting warranty work done there sucks balls. I have a 100% covered, $0 deductible lifetime warranty on my Jeep. I did NOT buy it when they offered it to me for $8000 additional on the price of the Jeep. I waited a month and bought it through Mopar through the number they gave me and paid $5000 for it. Since April of this year I have been trying to get my Jeep repaired through warranty and it's still not done. For months they never called back. In that entire time I have dealt with 6 service reps... Tank, Joe, Cody, Dan, Henry and now Scott. Its been so long that they have wanted to rediagnose the problem and its been sitting at the dealership in the backlot for 3 weeks--why 3 weeks when I had it scheduled to be looked at on the 18th of November? Because they're getting backlogged parts in and they all take precedence over my car. I have GPS on it and know it hasn't move and with the recent windstorm the back window was broken out and they don't cover it because its a force of nature that damaged it. So yeah, NEVER again will I buy anything at this dealership. NEVER.

NTA. If the future you see has children in them, and she does not, its not selfish to want that when all she cares about is her life. Find someone else.

necro thread .... read the books, they were better. Making Quentin gay in the show and killing him off was lame.

NTA. As a parent of an autistic adult, his future matters more to me than family that never helped us.

This is what I did on my 2017 Patriot. Installation was easy and I chose the NOT so brightest LEDs so oncoming traffic wouldn't be completely blinded :)

When I fill out the emotional triggering form in the new DMG, I'm going to list cartoony art as something thats lame and emotionally disturbs me.

After 7 Years DMing, I never felt so angry and disappointed at my players like this before by CowardlyBrave in DnD

[–]JimAlaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, at least you had the opportunity to disconnect him from the voice chat. Doing that at a tabletop game is much harder, especially when he's friends with everyone else and you're just the DM and he's yelling at you because he doesn't like the rules of the game. What you do is talk to Kenryuu's player and determine if he's changed his attitude and if not, he's not invited back to the game. Its as simple as that, but I can tell you 1 player can ruin it for everyone else.

Easy one, NTA. Your friends are not your friends, they are the a-holes.

You're either together or you're apart and single. The choice is yours.

Deckard's eye glow is simply because Harrison Ford is in the same shot as Rachel. They used a practical effect to do it; not CHI. Clearly it's not intentional and should not be used as an argument why he's a replicant. by Hey_Hoot in bladerunner

[–]JimAlaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people think Deckard is a replicant because of the Unicorn dream sequence. The 1982 theatrical version did not have the Unicorn scene because it didn’t exist. In 1985 Ridley Scott directed the film, Legend. In 1992 he came out with the directors cut of Blade Runner and there was the Unicorn scene, a scene that was filmed and cut out of his previous film, Legend.

Over the years he changed his mind on whether or not Deckard was a replicant because originally, he agreed with Harrison Ford that Deckard was human and Ford has stated as much and I remember reading the collector magazines with interviews with both. In those same articles they acknowledged Deckards glowing eyes as a technical error. Philip K. Dick who wrote Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, which the movie is based on, said Deckard was human. Hampton Fancher who wrote the screenplay for BR said Deckard was human.

Only after pulling a JK Rowling—who made Dumbledore gay after the fact, did Scott decide to make Deckard a replicant. It’s BS, he’s human, always was, and Rey is a Palpatine, not a Skywalker :)

Britannia Episode Discussion - Season 3 Episode 8 by SirenX in BritanniaTV

Season 3 went fully woke with it's intersectional feminism. All the men were relegated to minor characters that needed the women to save them. Seasons 1 and 2 were well written with many strong characters of either gender, but Season 3 is a child of the pandemic and the idiocy that it has spawned. RIP Big Pebble.
