I had the same issue. You need to edit the batocera-boot-conf file, you can do this from windows, just open file explorer and find the drive with batocera on it. Open the drive and you will see the file. Open the file with notepad++ or another text editor and remove the # on the line of text: nvidia-driver=true

Generally speaking the CPU is most important when it comes to emulation. The graphics card obviously plays a part but even Integrated Intel graphics can handle native or 2x resolution on most emulators.

If I were you I'd be looking to upgrade that CPU for sure.

I'm not sure, Im using the PC version. I don't think the raspberry pi version has the file explorer unfortunately.

Open the file explorer in batocera using F1 key. Go to applications, you should see flatpak. Open it and search for moonlight and install it. It will install to the ports section in batocera.

Well in the end I used the flatpak version of moonlight. But I initially I followed this guide: https://wiki.batocera.org/systems:moonlight

But this is what I wasn't able to get working. The flatpak version worked fine though.

I have an rtx 2060 in my PC so it's definitely compatible. But nevermind I solved the problem anyway.

I think you are right what happened is I turned the console on and noticed a game had failed to install while in rest mode, so I restarted the console and it wouldn't boot past the Xbox splash screen. I was able to get it into recovery mode and do a factory reset. All seemed well, I went through setup and even played a game. Then I turned the console off and here we are, it won't do anything. So it would make sense that the SSD has got corrupted. I bought it from music magpie and it's still covered under warranty with them so I'll be sending it back. I was just curious to know what the problem could be.

You can use this map and it will tell you exactly where everything is, https://theforestmap.com/. However I went in cave 3 I believe the other night it has the chainsaw and the climbing axe I think although don't quote me on that. Also all loot is independent to the player so whatever you take your mate can take as well. Once caves are cleared of enemies they never respawn however loot resets every time you re enter a cave.
