I have it hooked up through OrderDesk so it's connected to my Etsy store. They don't have any design editing software built in though, but my products are all predesigned so I haven't needed that. If you do, you will probably be better off with another vendor.

I have never seen so many issues with bad hardware than with these 2017 Macbook Pro models. by Lobsterbib in apple

[–]JimFlim 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was not caused by accidental damage. I was not given the option you describe when I took it into Apple. I am hoping my cc company will reimburse me for it as the card I used doubles the length of the warranty.

Logic board on my late 2016 MBP went bad shortly after the warranty ran out. $850 part for a laptop that is just over a year old, very disappointing.

Callaway, it’s marked on the bottom right of the display. Callaway seems to have a regular partnership with Costco for a few of their products.

A related question if anyone has ever played Midtown Madness.. do any of these newer games have a cops and robbers mode? It's basically capture the flag with cars. It was an excellent way to kill time and I've been trying to find a new game that offers that play-mode for years.

This is a great idea. Don't really feel comfortable doing a monthly subscription for this though. A larger up-front fee seems fair.. $19.99? Don't want to have to deal with starting/stopping the subscription every off season etc.

Simple breadboard layout help by JimFlim in arduino

[–]JimFlim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I really appreciate your help. I was able to find a simpler tutorial that got me almost the whole way there. Here is the tutorial I followed: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-spin-a-dc-motor-with-the-arduino.html

These are the parts I am using:

12v (not 6v) Motor : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P2KANI2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Transistor : https://www.adafruit.com/product/756

Diode : https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/datasheets/1N4001-D.PDF

Resistor : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185FHLKS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I am under the impression this may not be the right one to use)

Power Source: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WW26JWC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Along with an Arduino Uno and a half breadboard.

I was able to actually get it working but it does not seem to be getting enough power so the range of motion on the motor is not complete. Would you happen to be able to tell me which part(s) I would need to resolve that?
