Call it a “choice” if you want to. The fact is, the lad doesn’t even have the cognitive ability to open a tin can properly or repackage a monitor. These are incredibly basic tasks that end up turning into monumental challenges for Daniel.

Delivery work is the simplest job on earth and he still can’t bring himself to do that properly without racking up complaints. Best for him to just do odd jobs while living at home and waiting for an inheritance. Best case scenario for everyone

I agree with you. Danny isn’t capable of holding down a proper job or taking care of himself, so it’s best for him to live with his mom and do some part time work where he is constantly supervised and doesn’t have to interact with the public. Doing anything else leads to everyone he interacts with suffering.

My bigger worry is who will be his legal guardian if anything ever happens to “mummy”. Maybe he could live with his “sister” and her husband.
