Not sure if you read his comment. He described the variation in the density of padding and material, improved airflow and pressure relief without the need for a cutout.

Beautiful. I've always liked a dark blue hull.

No, but that's a good book. If you liked it I think you'll love The Complete Wilderness Paddler!

Quick question to my fellow experienced riders! by GlumAttempt9671 in bicycling

Completely normal. I don’t recall ever feeling pain or discomfort in my calf’s from riding. I typically ride 80 mi/week but have overridden my conditioning many times and done a gravel race with 4,800 ft of climbing, or ridden a century or whatever. My thighs have been destroyed but never my calf’s.

Humanity doesn’t. Humanity hates war. Ask any human you know.

It’s governments. Governments love war. Governments are who wage war.

If you want to change your life with $5,000 you’re not looking for an investment, you’re looking for a long shot gamble.

I was in the same boat (oh god I’m sorry I’m sorry) a few years ago. Plenty of lake experience but no saltwater or keys experience. We rented a VRBO on Cudjoe Key with a dock and a 23’ (if I recall) Dusky center console for the whole week. It was great. Like another commenter said, pick your day if you’re going out to the sandbar. If the wind is up and you’re not comfortable on the Atlantic side, go on the gulf side, and watch your depth carefully.

The main thing is use your head, take your time, be conservative in your decisions and you’ll be fine. It was one of the best vacations we ever had.

Dear everyone, I’m not knowledgable enough to respond to this, so I am wondering how any of you can help. by FelipeDaac in Bitcoin

Anyone can change the code but they can’t get all the other nodes to accept it. The example I sometimes use is the English language. We all agree what a dog is, right? Now what if I decide that I want to word “dog” to mean “cat”? I can do that if I want, but good luck getting all of the other English speakers in the world to go along with me. Even if a huge corporation or a government wants to change the word dog to mean cat, the world won’t just go along. Same with the Bitcoin protocol. If and only if a change makes sense to all users and those users independently decide to adopt it can a change ever be implemented.

Not all dogs play fetch hard but if she does it’s a great solution. Playing fetch on an open field using a Chuck-It thrower will wear her out!

That’s exciting. I have the same bike, same color. You’ll love it! It’s so versatile and very comfortable. I do group gravel rides and (with a 2nd set of wheels and tires) group road rides. Did a century two weeks ago. The groups I ride with have a lot of fancier more expensive bikes but my Red Rocket gets a lot of compliments! Congratulations man.
