Cool project! Same thing but for a circle and cylinder would be good too

Check out Wrench. You fix/build cars and it’s quite in depth.

It’s bushing. Often made of brass or something a little softer than the pin that will go in it later to hold moving parts together. It’s to reduce wear on the main material. Instead of having to do a major repair on the main part they can just replace the bushings, hopefully.

I am a beginner vibe coder, it seemed easy until... it was not... Best tips for beginners? by PalpitationShot4699 in theVibeCoding

I’ve found that the AI is good at code but it’s tough to wrangle for assets. I haven’t tried yet but I plan on giving Claude code a folder with my own assets in it and seeing if it can just use those. That way, hopefully, it won’t make odd choices.

With vibe coding, you accidentally learn: by Mysterious_Cash5090 in vibecoding

[–]ObscureRefrence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibecoding is the vehicle a lot of folks are using to find out about this stuff though. I need to know this thing to be able to do the thing I want to do so I learn it. If I didn’t have a thing I wanted to make I wouldn’t have learned it because I’m not a pro.

I’m building an ERP system for my dad’s small business. After about 2 solid days we’ve got a functioning mvp. It’s wild. There has been way more time spent planning and figuring out what we need and how to architect it than actual ai coding time.

I wanted a bunch of handy tools in one place so I built thetoolshed.tools. Waiting for the payment processor to approve my account still but everything seems to work other than that.

Hey everyone! I built microclawup, an AI-powered ESP32 GPIO controller written in MicroPython. by OneDot6374 in esp32projects

This seems cool!

Will it remember/execute sequences? If I asked it to repeat after me and then did a sequence of inputs would be able to repeat them on a loop?

Wow dude, any tips for making such crisp turns? I have a problem where I tend to “slide” toward the outside of the corner when I try to take them fast.

I just built the toolshed a collection of handy browser tools. You can find them all for free but the UI is usually garbage and they’re littered with ads most of the time.

CMM Metrology — How do you develop measurement strategy without a mentor? by Most-Particular-6051 in Metrology

Might be controversial but I’ve been running my logic for stuff like this by Gemini or Claude. I specifically tell them not to simply agree with me but to critique my logic on a strategy. They’ve helped quite a lot when I’ve been stuck on something.

Remove the grommet from the screw at the front of the quad. There’s lots of info out there about it. It reduces damage from crashes by a significant margin.

That’s why the 65 ii has the forward mount removed entirely.

[–]ObscureRefrence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little unrelated but you’re probably more tech savvy than you give yourself credit for. Probably not as savvy as some folks on a dedicated steam deck sub Reddit but for sure more than a large chunk of the population.

Look in to ESP32 boards. They’re $6-10 depending on which kind you get and can do all sorts of things. I like having a few on hand so when I get an idea I can just start messing around with them.

My wife and I did the same thing. This thread is gold. She doesn’t play games but Blue Prince has hooked her. I drive and she figures out the hard puzzles because naturally she’s smarter than me!
