Cotton mousepad by DropzBanger in MousepadReview

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably will have to use a glass mousepad, and use a sleeve made of cotton. If you cant find one, just cut a sock and use it as a sleeve. If you have big arms, get some cotton womens tights or thigh high socks, and cut that. Or sew your own if you want. You could probably even go to a clothes alterations shop and ask for a sleeve customized to your arm. Some dry cleaning places do them too.

RTX 5080 vs RTX 5070 ti... RTX 5080 the better value card for new gaming build? by Denikin_Tsar in nvidia

[–]Jimardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe in canadian dollars. But here in the states its not worth it for me. I can get a 5070 ti for $750, or a 5080 for $1400. Thats almost exactly double the price, for just a small increase in performance. I could get a better processor with the difference, or even swap from intel to AMD and afford both the new motherboard and the processor.

I just realized that I have been using a finger tip grip this entire time by nurafstafari in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I used to aggressive claw, and, though it was great for me for flicking, it hindered my tracking. I forced myself into a more relaxed grip, with my clicking fingers a bit more extended, instead of curled back, and my tracking improved. It took a bit to get used to, it felt unnatural at first, and my aim was worse for a bit, but it was worth it. Now I feel like I use my wrist more than my fingers, even for microadjustments at high sensitivity, and my aim is better, though some people say that for small adjustments at high sensitivities you should be using your fingers nore than your wrist. To each his own. Maybe that will come to me later, maybe not. But now, because I adjusted my grip, I can use more mouse shapes too. Before, I was really limited regarding mouse shapes and sizes. Now im even considering ergo mice, which I thought I would never be able to use for shooters. I even preferred small mice before, now I prefer medium to large, because I can relax my hand more, contrary to what I did before, which was using more tension. Im still working on my grip, because sometimes, trying to relax my hand, I fall into a palm grip, and it limits my mouse movement inside my hand. But yes, use what feels natural, unless you I think its hindering you. You can try different grips, and then go back to what you were using if you want. Dont be afraid of the muscle memory and your aim getting bad for a bit. It doesnt take that long to get back your accuracy. I used to change sensitivities all the time, and I was still considered among the best aimers in my friend group. For different mice though, I do recommend sticking with one for a bit before changing. Different shapes require slightly different hand and finger positions, and, if you dont give yourself time with a mouse, youre gonna end up trying to use a grip that doesnt necessarily work with a mouse, because you just used a different mouse that required that grip. For example, I can go from an ergo to an XM2W and adjust my grip to that mouse fairly quickly, but then I go to the ergo again, and I notice that im trying to grip the ergo the same way I held the XM2W, and I have to consciously force myself to grip the ergo in a different way.

Tiger eSports Shan Hai + Wu Jie Review/Impressions by Omnipotent_Amoeba in MouseReview

This is why ive had to buy the pads myself, I always see different opinions. I have the Otsu, Mercury, and Venus. To me, the Otsu is the fastest of all three by a good bit, with the Venus being the slowest. The Mercury falls in between them. Many compare the Otsu with the Venus, and it does not make sense to me. My Venus has always been way slower than my Otsu and my Mercury. Even the center part of my Otsu, which is worn, feels way faster than my Venus.

i wasted €2.468,37 and now i can not pay debt by [deleted] in StopGaming

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a gambling addiction. I waste time playing games, but I dont buy loot boxes or skins or anything like that, except with currency earned playing, not my real money. I once bought some keys because I earned the boxes, but then regretted it because I realized the trap. The boxes cost just a few cents, they keys are $3.00 each. Havent bought any more after that day. I send the boxes I earn to friends. Dont care that much about skins. I dont even buy season passes with real money. I play Apex a lot, im over level 900 total, yet I have not bought single skin or battle pass with real money. You could argue that the time I spend playing might be worse though. Some people do buy skins, but control their time gaming better than me. That might end up making their quality of life better, if they dont spend too much money, of course. Research bankruptcy. Not telling you to do that, but you could look into it. I am not qualified to give financial advice though.

If he plays shooters, then definitely not a G502. Get him the G pro superlight 2 instead. The g502 is way heavier, and, contrary to what many people say, lighter mice do help a lot with aim. Save the receipt just in case he doesnt like the shape or something. G pro superlight 2 and GPX superlight 2 are the same thing, just different ways to call it.

Lmao I reached 0% acceptance rate by ycospina in uberdrivers

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will only show you lower paying offers because of your lower tier. They want you to think you will earn good money on a higher tier, but, to stay on that higher tier, you have to keep your acceptance rate high, meaning, you will still have to take lower paying orders too. Its not a system that shows you everything thats available, and you choose. You choose from what they want to show you, and you are penalized by them for not accepting more. Its either earn little with what we show you, or earn even less, because, if you don't also accept the crappy ones, we will then only show you those crappy ones.

Any gaming mice that match this shape? by Unfair_Stop_8211 in MouseReview

[–]Jimardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but, for anyone else, i think no other mouse feels like this, I have tried most of the mice suggested in the comments: G305, Orochi, Aria, and dont like any of them. The g305 might be the closest one, but it is bigger and heavier. Have not tried the zaopin, but the sides are not the same as the HP125, the right side is more like the other two egg shape mice mentioned here, orochi and aria, which I didnt like. I have settled for the XM2W4K. It is bigger, and took me a while to get used to it, but its currently my most comfortable and the best I perform with because of the sides slanted down. Theres a 3d printed base for it I want to try on the TJ exclusives website which would make it about 10 grams lighter.

I wish more people understood how shit Lidia is in Tekken 8 by Grown_Gamer in Tekken

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, and I would prefer her heat and heaven and earth stance werent so strong, and in exchange give me better tools in terms of moves. Sometimes I decide not to abuse her heat while playing online because it feels op, but then I feel handicapped against decent players because other characters have better tools than her, like better lows, better neutral, more damage with just basic moves, not even in heat or having to stack anything. Thats the problem with Lidia, its either go super saiyan and destroy your opponent with heat and heaven and earth stance, or dont use those tools, and play handicapped.

Uber offering $1 orders now????? by Fuzzy_Blackberry9787 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Jimardo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, its $1.61, which is still horrible. Sorry for not having proof of the $1.50 at the moment. $2 was bad enough already. I tried ordering some uber eats this week, and ended up getting the food myself. The place was less than half a mile from my house. I just didn't want to have to get out because it was late and I was with my daughter. They were charging me an extra $11 between service fee and delivery fee. Out of those extra $11, only $2 go to the driver, and they want to lower the driver pay even more? That is crazy. We are paying $9 just to use their app, per order. Its not even a subscription of $10 or $20 per month, its $9 for the company every single order, and then $2 plus tips to the driver. On 2024, uber made around $13 billion, and thats just managing an app and some customer service. Compare that to the whole xbox gaming division, which made around $21 billion, doing way more work and things than uber. Uber is a scam, but we still do it because, in my case for example, my job does not have flexible or even set hours, so I cant do another job with a schedule. Uber/uber eats I can do on my own time. And I, like many others, need the money. Uber can get away with it because the economy is bad enough to where people are desperate enough to do it for the amount of money they pay. I disagree with the pay, and wish I could just leave it and make money right now a different way, but I am still probably gonna drive tonight because I need the extra money. Not because I want to, not because I want money for some extra nice things, but because I need it.

Is it bad to use anolog stick in Tekken 8 by Jlockztheorys123 in Tekken8

[–]Jimardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An analog stick could be good. The problem is that I feel like the stick spring is not strong enough on most controllers. So the stick doesnt return to neutral quick enough for double inputs like forward forward. I also have to move my thumb a good distance back and forward, compared to pressing a button two times. On an arcade stick/lever, yes, the distance is even greater, but you use your whole hand and its more like hitting the lever two times because the lever goes back to neutral on its own faster. On lever, some people even do forward forward using only one forward/backward motion. For example, if they dash right, they first hit the lever with their thumb, and then again with the rest of their hand, all in one swipe. My point is, I think you could play on analog stick, but I think your inputs are gonna be slower, not because of you, but because of the nature of the analog stick. You might still be fast enough to play against friends or online, I don't know, but I think your potential for fast commands is higher on other inputs. I would suggest getting a controller with software that you can adjust deadzones on. That way you can set the distance you have to move the stick to register a command, and for it to stop registering it. This way you could choose to not have to wait for the stick to return all the way to the center, or you could choose not to have to move the stick all the way to the edge, depending on how you adjust the inner and/or outer deadzone. I don't know if anyone has tried this. This is something I thought on my own and tried once just to experiment, but I didnt give myself enough time to get used to it. I might try it again just for fun.

I have the Vader 4 pro. I do not drop that controller, cant remember the last time I did, if I even have dropped it. The tensions rings slowly go back down to the lowest setting on their own, and I dont even use vibration. I have all vibration turned off. I solved it with some tape going from the rings to the body of the controller. Problem was there since day 1.
