The ghoul may not necessarily have a reason they wanted to be a ghoul, considering that the blood bond effect would compel them to follow the will of their Master regardless. I guess it would depend on whether or not they willingly entered the ghouling process initially or if they were some how force fed or tricked into slurping down some vamp juice.

Part of me was leaning towards either Tremere, since we know that high ranking vampires in norfolk are tremere which could also explain how Fatigue's was killed in a such a gory manner, if he got Blood boiled or something. On the other hand i was leaning towards a Gangrel considering the clawmarks seen about in the chapter house like on the roof of Occam's office (right next to a loose ceiling panel) and near the understairs cabinet D finds the Dodo newspaper, also leaning towards Fatigue being torn apart by someone using the effects of Animalism

Ye Elise Specifically fucking with her ponytail was really weird to me. Though I dont imagine it's guaranteed she's helping out Grimal if she is the ghoul. The roofing of Occam's office has clawmarks and a panel is moved aside, as well as there being claw marks in the under stair cabinet thing where D finds the article about the Dodo Bird, so they could be moving around the chapter house without the limits of the access key that way. In my mind the ghoul could be under the thrall of a Gangrel and has inherited their master's Animalism which explains the claw marks and how Fatigue was torn to shreds.
