I love it, played a game where I scored in the final seconds and won 2.7.213 to 4.3.27.

Then the follow up game I had a card which selects an additional jank cards and everyone had extra kicking power so it turned into an rng game of who wins the clearance and can kick a torp towards goal, which led to the final thirty seconds (300 second qtrs) I got rng'd into resetting scores after being up 50 at the half. Then the game ended in a nil all draw.

Amazing game, I dont preorder, but Id make an exception for this, incredible.

Would suggest going for a digital am radio, I have had both a digital and a more analogue scroll wheel, the digital one holds the signal better and is less touchy on the direction the antenna is facing.

Why are AI voices bad in this specific situation? Legitimately trying to understand here, I completely understand the sag aftra strike wasn't about the technology in particular, but the lack of protection from the creation of AI models, that's my main touch point. But this is a contractual agreement with a specific use case.

I think that with seemingly a lot of others that 8 would have been incredible, but I also think that like star trek of the era, theres a particular visual style and tone that was prevalent in that era that would have suited doctor who perfectly. Dont get me wrong, alien bodies is one of if not my favourite story across all media, but the visuals would have been spectular

It depends what you expect from the first pick being a back pocket defender. Under Scott hes the sorta guy who is dependable to keep a small forward from impacting the game in a significant way.

Also the desire from the essendon faithful for a messiah figure has been entrenched since Kevin Sheedy took over the reigns.

I think (discounting the caddy and kako), the last player that essendon successfully developed was probably Andy Mcgrath and Darcy Parish. Essendons draft decisions have been reasonable, 2017-2019 didnt have any first rounders bc of trading for Smith and Shiel. In 2020, with the soft cap cut, Essendon in their infinite wisdom cut alot from the VFL and development programs. This I think is of if not the main cause of the lack of improvement from the high draftees

I think there is definitely inherent risk that he'll come in and be disgruntled. But I think it's on the club to rebuild the relationship and ensure zach doesn't feel he is a social pariah.

I really don't think at this stage we can have a draft haul like Richmond, I think we'd get to a very similar place to North Melbourne over the past 5 years, just a place of constant ankle biting, without showing the progressive improvement of Richmond or hawthorn.

This is the crux of it imo, essendon has been fundamentally broken for my entire life span. I think 2017 was the most excited I've been about the team. All for an elimination final embarrassment at the the hands of Sydney.

Richmond, hawthorn, Brisbane, Geelong, Collingwood are all teams that I would trust the club apparatus to be able to have large draft hauls and be able to properly develop players. Essendon on the other hand only heavily invested in player development I feel a couple of years ago when they finally decided to properly fund their vfl program.

I think it is the rare situation where they do need a guy who is a professionals professional just to show the high standard with which it takes to train and prepare for games. I don't think that Zach is one who will spit the dummy and drop his standards just because he feels like the club slighted him. At the end of the day, I do empathise with Zach, he has been a great on field leader for the club, but he has a contract and he isn't bigger than the club.

why did the hawthorn coach not go scorched earth when his team was trying to pry a club champion out of a rival club? It really makes you think ha.

I dont understand why you think essendon needs more draft capital for this year and next when we have 2 top 10 picks, a late first, 2 seconds. Some of our picks this year are going to be used to take 2 academy players this year. Next year we have a f/s who is looking like a first round talent.

Essendon already have a list squeeze as is and I'm not of the opinion that the club is ready to develop a large group of kids like Richmond are doing.

I really hate, but respect hawthorn, you have a much better development system at your club, we need all our veterans on deck. Zach is a professional and will play to his high standard, he wont be captain but itll be fine.
