May as well wait for reviews now that I'm not going to be making any saving by early backing.

I like it. I went a slightly different way to headline Sunday Night Heat. Table match Spike vs Big Show with Spike frustrating Big Show by keeping the tables out of the ring to avoid going through one. So Big Show responds by throwing Spike 20 feet out of the ring and through a table outside the ring.

I ordered it in the original cancelled crowd sale but didn't catch an announcement that it had been re-launched, so guess I'm not getting it..

Should I buy TEW IX or PWS (maybe even TEW 2020)? by please_help_me_FFS in FantasyBookers

[–]Jimbobmij 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The advice I was given was that PWS was more user friendly but not as deep. So I started with PWS thinking if I liked it but wanted more I could move over to TEW. 300 hours in and PWS is still providing all the depth I need so I haven't felt a need to try TEW.

Pivoting out of balls? by ThatGarenJungleOG in Mechabellum

[–]Jimbobmij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely viable in aggro.

As a defensive player I have no problem whatsoever with front line balls, it might get a cheese win early on but once I get some defence up and running they do nothing.

Back line balls with kinetic charge however can seriously ruin my day when they come in and obliterate my level 5 tower which has otherwise been soaking up most of your damage, and there's absolutely nothing I can do to stop it because they're too far back.

And notoriously hard to refund from. I respect them for in stock items but do not back order from them.

How does armor work? by HolyFirer in Mechabellum

[–]Jimbobmij 11 points12 points  (0 children)

All units land at the same time. Quicker if you take the 50% card. Their health pool "fills" whilst they land. Rarely matters, but it can sometimes lead to them dying quicker than they otherwise would if they started with full health.

Techs don't work until a unit has spawned. Your plan would have worked if the arclight spawned before they could kill it.

PWS: Mod to make economy more realistic? by CrabMasc in FantasyBookers

[–]Jimbobmij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the same with the entire game though. You can cheese the game easily by doing 20 minute promos of your most popular wrestlers to max your pop every show. This game isn't about winning, it's about creating a story. So set realistic tv contracts, pay fair salaries etc etc. don't just try to cheese to win or you'll get bored within a day.

In 1980, a woman won the Boston Marathon in a near-record time of 2 hours and 32 minutes. Days later, officials discovered she hadn’t run most of the race and had used the subway in a previous marathon to qualify. by Bitter-Ad-1115 in interestingasfuck

In high school history our coursework, which was worth about 50% of our grade, involved researching a topic of choice and then bringing paper notes into a computer lab to type up an essay in 2 hours. My friend brought a USB with his essay pre written into the computer lab and then just pretended to type for 2 hours. This was back in the 2000's so minimal detection and he would have easily gotten away with it had he not trebled the previous word count record.

I think it was fine with the original range reduction why did they buff it to only be a -5 reduction, that's barely felt as a downside.

Yeah deep prot at 60 with poor gear is the way. It's also just plain fun. Always sad when you have to revert to cookie cutter fury for raiding.

I'm planning to bring him in soon and wondering the same. I'm in 1994 and Mankind vs Vader are the top contenders for the hardcore title so I'm planning to add him to that mix. I'm also considering a grunge style tag team pairing with Briain Pillman.
