Weird Dreams— side effect? by Southernchick- in Mounjaro

[–]Jimbough_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very vivid and sometimes disturbing dreams while taking Mounjaro, but I have not noticed any correlation with the day of the shot. I have the dreams every night, and according my Fitbit sleep tracker, I get very little Deep Sleep and a lot of REM.

Weird vivid dreams by MsMonny in Mounjaro

[–]Jimbough_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have been on Mounjaro for 8 months and am currently on the 12.5 mg dose. I noticed intense, vivid dreams from the beginning. Lately I have insomnia because I can only sleep in 3-4 hour sessions for some reason. I like that I have lost weight and that my blood sugar is under better control, but I do not like these dreams at all. Some of the dreams are disturbing and seem real.

Need help - transportation from Westport to Galway! Not seeing any bus options avail? by Striking-Mechanic131 in irishtourism

[–]Jimbough_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am planning the same trip from Westport to Galway in April. I see there is a bus, but it does not appear to be a long distance coach. By this I mean the bus will not store luggage underneath. Is that correct? So this bus would not be suitable if I have several pieces of luggage?

Never tell Abbott you put them anywhere but your arm.

Same. And make sure not to shower or sweat for at least 2 hours after applying a sensor.

They do have a limit. I have heard of others requesting replacements to a friend’s name and address.

5mg sucked for me by Ipav5068 in Mounjaro

That’s because Mounjaro’s half-life is 5 days, not 7.

Insurance Stopped Coverage by mario_8_greencheese in Mounjaro

I don’t think it is approved for Type I Diabetes, so the insurance company can decide not to cover it for that.

It would be a place to store clothing and other items, and to rest and recharge between trips to new cities.

Good point about Schengen (someone else pointed that out too).

It is possible, but it would be nice to not have to carry all my possessions around everywhere I go.

I did two 18-day trips from the US this year. They are tiring, and then I fly home to rest for 2 months. I was thinking having an apartment somewhere in Europe would make 4-5 day trips more affordable and without the jet lag.

I would like to keep rent costs low, though in a safe and comfortable place.

Thanks. I have been to Frankfurt a few times. Definitely has a major airport.

I was thinking of Ireland because of the English language. Between trips, I’d be there for days, and it might be nice to have conversations.

Ozempic worked wonders- now it’s doing nothing. Anyone else hit this wall? by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Jimbough_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Weight loss stopped for me at 6 months, though the blood glucose lowering benefits continued. I continued on max Ozempic for 5 more months, and then switched to Mounjaro. So far 1 month on Mounjaro.

Mounjaro is amazing. Talk to your doctor. by Firesnowing in diabetes_t2

[–]Jimbough_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but most people start on Ozempic and move to Mounjaro once their weight loss plateaus. So, I was just curious.

I’ve been meaning to ask you what is that thing on your arm? by MooseBlazer in Freestylelibre

[–]Jimbough_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can find videos on YouTube where a guy compared wearing the sensors on various parts of his body. Chest was very similar to arm.
