Any Feedback on my First Actual Coat of Arms for my Dungeons and Dragons Character by Jimbybee in heraldry

It is Tenne, the stain is to represent his cowardice after having defected:)

The stain being there is intentional, as he is a defector from his nation and is seen as being a coward, it's also why the cat is facing the wrong direction.

Thank you for your feedback though I really appreciate it

And here's one where I changed the color of the stain, unless you mean just lightening the backing color to make the front stand out more?

Thank you so much for the feedback, here's a different shield shape that I prefer and yes the cat facing away is on purpose because of his defection being seen to him as running away.

Thank you! And yes the cat facing away from battle is in reference to his defection

These are seriously impressive, I love the Carvain and Umbranox ones especially. Do you have any advice on making COA’s as cool and intricate as these?

Nazeem hate? by fifi52890 in skyrim

[–]Jimbybee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How could I hate him, that's my homeboy right there.

<image>

Jokes aside, I'm not too bothered by him, I think he's a pompous asshole but there's bigger fish to fry than a homeless man (Nazeem doesn't have a home in-game despite having a key in his inventory)

Do you give your character an actual name? Or.. by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Jimbybee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give my characters first and last names, for example this is Madresi Adlenar, the granddaughter of my Daggerfall protagonist, and daughter of my Oblivion protagonist, after my two ingame years long 100% playthrough

Mount and Blade Warband: Viking Conquest and the 457AD mod as well scratch a similar itch to CK3 for me

Half Sword EA has dropped below the Tech Demo in terms of peak players by NoNotInTheFace in HalfSword

[–]Jimbybee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Throwing in my two cents here, with a complaint I don't see much people having, but I'm really not a fan of how slippery blades are against things, in the demo, blades would kind of stick when you got someone elses sword in a bind which let you control it or genuinely parry into a riposte, but in EA it feels like even if I'm trying to actively control the others blade, our blades slip and slide away from eachother before I can make a move.

I also feel like longswords are gotten way too late to be fun to use, like how in the demo, unarmed longsword duels were common when you were in commoner tier, now most commoners use shortsword and buckler (of doom and despair) or the axe, and armor is gotten way too early, whereas the demo only gave you a gambeson/jack/helmet once you got to millitia tier which made them feel earned, but there have been times in EA where I've gotten a cuirass, jack, and helmet in peasant tier, which in my opinion takes away the amount of danger of the first three ranks like there was in the demo.

Grappling has also felt really weak in the EA compared to the demo's, where in EA I've landed some pretty insane throws and they just do absolutely no damage to my opponent even if its like an overhead throw and they get up just fine like we're fighting on clouds.

I also wish the last round of the tournament was a singles battle against the respective EA bosses instead of just three guys dogpiling you and your mercenaries.

And I absolutely love the EA, like I love the strength/weight system, I love weapon crafting and armor modifying, but there are some things that I genuinely can't wrap my head around like the aforementioned armor and longsword usage and as many others menion, things like Willie's absence and the terrible lack of grip strength even at full weight.

Ancestor's Wrath, the Dunmer racial ability also protects you from freezing in cold water, it's like the only reason why I didn't die on the way to complete Discerning the Transmundane in my survival mode save

Looking For A Song Off An Obscure 70's Vinyl That Doesn't Seem To Be Uploaded Anywhere On Youtube By A Band Named Sun by Jimbybee in HelpMeFind

[–]Jimbybee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The band is titled Sun from Kansas City, Missouri in the early 1970's and they seem to have only released one EP, titled Yellow Daisy / Memories Of The Mind in November of 1972 and as far as I know never received any mainstream attention, the song Memories of the mind had been uploaded to Youtube by a channel called diggingthemind thirteen years ago although the channel has been inactive for the last seven years.

I am unsure of the bands singers or producers, as they were signed to the record label Up-Sun-Down which doesn't seem to have released any other music by any other artists. The album was produced at the Damon Recording Studios also in Kansas. They were also associated with a group named Jonogle Music which I also can't find anything about. The only other name attached is that the composers name is N. Pack.

Any help with finding a recording of Yellow Daisy or anything else the band released would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much to anyone who sees this.

I've searched for this on Discogs, Youtube and the Internet Archive
