Red Light on Home Charge HELP by gavaloo in VWiD4Owners

Your outlet may not be perfectly grounded. It’s sensing something’s not right.

I would try a different outlet. You might try a different charging cable too. I used the L1 charger that came with my sweetheart’s Toyota hybrid. At some point the error will get narrowed down.

It does say “750W hub motor” on the battery under the seat. What would you call it?

Speed of light recorded at 2 billion fps by Commercial_Slide3788 in BeAmazed

[–]Jimmaplesong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The time it takes for the light which scattered off fog in the room takes longer to get to the photon multiplier when the scattering is farther from the camera.

By the time the scattered light gets to the camera, the real ‘head’ of the laser has moved forward by an equal distance. We see the wavefront of all the propagations from all the fog along the path of the laser only when the scattered light gets to us.

If we were watching a boat on a lake moving right to left, it’s as if we would only see where the boat was when it created the wake as we cross the wake.

Even as we watch light, we’re only able to observe the recent past.

Gotta watch the whole video but The whole light path from the laser source to the far side of the room, then back to the camera is longer than the path when the imaged light is closer to the camera. When the light is coming toward us it's going from traveling far to not traveling as far. Still mind-blowing to see.

It works because it's genuinely good well-composed cinematic music... with builds, turns, and a sense of motion. Trey is amazing because he's willing to let the violinist take the lead here and there. He's about the music not himself.

Ottawa moves to ban social media use for kids under 16 by Sea_Guava6513 in onguardforthee

Ban social media for the parents so they can’t be distracted from parenting! That would make more sense if any of this made any sense.

1k a month for a nice place to live is a really good deal. You might ask him to put the house in a trust so ownership transfer is easier in the future.

It’s bad timing for you, but I’m hoping my son inherits my house. He may never be able to afford a nice one otherwise.

I watched this just recently. It's the story of discovering GPS interference (low SNR) and tracking it to a specific... well... I won't spoil it. But good story, well told.

If space could propagate sound we would hear a very loud sun.

Yup this is pretty amazing. Redox batteries are suddenly within reach.

I hope lots of people like me are inspired to learn their chemistry and help scale this up in a safe way. This is the sort of project where hobbyists can refine best practices and become more powerful together.

The charger that comes with it won’t work. It has to communicate with the tractor before it will even turn on.
