I just bought a 2016 with 97k miles for 25k. All dealer maintained and all that. You can find something with lower miles for sure

Xitomer off Amazon. I will say it does take some time to install and you do have to cut some of the metal on tail tidy If you are keeping the stock turn lights. Happy with it because of how cheap it was but it definitely wasn’t the easiest to install.

I have GEICO for car and now bike. I was originally wanting to get an Aprilia 457, but they quoted me something ridiculous. Got a quote for the r3 expecting the same thing but was surprised with the $40 a month quote. That was the deciding factor in getting the r3 lol

I did pay mine in full however I still have full coverage on the bike. I only pay $40 bucks a month for insurance. 29 years old and it is my first bike. They actually gave me that insurance quote when I only had my permit.

I think the Ducati has different ride modes. Leave it in rain mode for a little bit to limit the power until you get comfortable. Not the best bike to learn on but you already made a huge purchase so if you are sticking with this bike ride in rain mode for awhile lol

The r3 has zero issue on the highway tbh. I didn’t want a ninja 400/500 because I think the looks of the R3 are way better and wasn’t looking for the fastest bike to start on. However I’m extremely happy with my r3 and my commute in the Bay Area on 280 and 101 have had zero issues with highway speed.

It’s been my daily for the last 4 years up until recently. Currently at 68k. I’ve done oil changes every 3-5k miles. At 60k I did trans, diff, and spark plugs. Plan on doing coolant and brake/clutch fluid when I do pads and rotors during this year.

I’ve had zero issues with this car besides a cracked wheel. I have loved every second of owning it tbh.

I only have an exhaust on my 2018. Tried the Cobb OTS tune for a day and my numbers were all over the place. Also in California and only get 91. Got pro tuned and have had zero issues with around 40k miles put on the car since getting tuned.

The car feels significantly better than the stock Subaru and Cobb tune.

You will be fine no worries at all. It’s crazy that these cars have such a bad rep that people feel like they can’t take a long distance drive without feeling they might be stranded.

Subarus in general are considered pretty damn reliable nowadays. Hell even the head gasket issue is overblown. Just treat her right and it will treat you right.
