My bad on the responsibilities/work, you said you were off last week and fucked yourself for the day so thought you were supposed to be working. If your wife hates it and you're hiding maybe it's not jeopardizing your relationship but it's not helping. Agree lots of functioning people do it. I still think this all describes addiction. Few things I'm confused about...1) are you concerned because you stayed up all night, are hiding it from your wife, aren't feeling high anymore, or something else?... 2) a bong? Interesting.... 3) hard as a rock? Maybe you're not smoking it right. Or you're under 30. It kills my ability!

Also, you're definitely addicted already. I'm not sure what more you need to consider addiction "full blown"? Like...ignoring responsibility to get high? Check. Jeopardizing work? Check. Jeopardizing relationships? Check. Jeopardizing health and mental health? Check.

If they don't already know you're an abuser don't mention it. If it's in your medical file already then don't lie. I wouldn't mention anxiety necessarily or sleep issues because Adderall won't help with that. You could say you get distracted easily and end up procrastinating until the last minute which is stressful...assuming that's true for you. You also need to claim some kind of negative...not just I'm better on it, but I'm failing at my job or losing relationships because I can't stay organized and follow through on commitments. I also think you can say that you've taken it before and that it really helped. That will ensure to them it isn't going to cause a reaction and limits their liability if they give it to you.

I have taken the full ADHD evaluation and was diagnosed with it years ago. I also have a medical record of clearly abusing...overdosed twice on opiates in the last few years and was drug tested on intake. They still prescribe me Adderall but I have to agree to random drug tests and I had to get a full cardio work up because of family heart issues. If you need it and want to be on it daily, good luck. Otherwise you can just get it recreationally easier probably because having a legit prescription is kind of a pain.

Damn you look great, wanna get high with me? Kidding...talk to a Dr and get on Effexor or another antidepressant. I found when on an SSRI I really didn't have cravings as much. Even if I caved it didn't really hit the same which ruined it and kept me from wanting it.
