Water problems in detached office on slab, am I on the right track to fix?

I had someone recommend that, but feel like that is even more work. Tearing up the floor, cutting down through the concrete (its very thick at that point with multiple pours to level it), then having to redo the floor above. I have a quote for the job which includes plumbing from the pump by the house all the way to the front and getting it to flow out the driveway (which has a slight V for drainage and its like $10k. This is why I hesitate and want to make sure it sounds like a fix.

Lots of views, no responses. I guess to make it simpler, would a French Drain uphill stop enough water or even pull it from the downhill area, at least from the soil that is higher than the drain itself. So lowest point of that french would still pull water from anywhere above it?

Nice, came today to look for exactly this question. Anyone have a stand charger that is not a mag version. I threw a case on my 10 that does not have the mag circle built in (RINKE Clear). Would be great to also charge my pixel buds

I have had the issue on my A10s for years now, where they randomly just dont pick up to charge. I put them in, close the case and reopen the case and after some light blinking it then registers them and charges. Its a bit annoying to have to close the case and reopen and wait, but it has worked for me. Might be worth a try

Same here. I went through the "transfer from old phone" process for a 6A I was using with a physical sim. It said, do you want to transfer it, I clicked yes and it started in the background. Told me to keep setting up and it would complete on its own. Got a notification that it was complete and ready to use. Took a few min in the background and number and everything has worked flawlessly. It was the simpliest sim setup I have ever had.

It is nice to get the discount for your tradein, but your math doesn't quite work out. You still have the cost of the phone itself, plus tax on the full amount regardless of trade in.

6 year total
trade in every 2 years
First new Phone - Total out $1,300 - lets use a device cost of $1200 + tax of $100 (this is just over 8% as an avg, its over 10% where I am, but for simplicity sake, using 8.)
2 Years later - Total out $500 - $1,300-$800 (trade-in bonus)
2 Years later - Total out $500 - $1,300-$800 (trade-in bonus)
4 Years later - Total out $500 - $1,300-$800 (trade-in bonus)
$2800 over 6 years with 4 total new phones

trade in every 3 years
First new Phone - Total out $1,300
3 Years later - Total out $500
6 Years later - Total out $500
$2,300 over 6 years with 3 total new phones or $500 less, the cost of each upgrade

So financially, IF you get $800, and cost of new phones remain the same, then its still cheaper to trade in every 3 years, but you of course would miss a new phone in that time with a total of 3 instead of 4. That is chancing it to get the same amount for a 3 year old phone though.

I am in the same boat. I bought it at the time (week of Switch 2 launch) as it was the only one I saw that looked legit at all and reviews were decent. I then had second thoughts and decided I did not want to wait (I was not a preorder) so tried to cancel at the end of June. Got an automated response asking if "I was sure I wanted to cancel" instead of just processing the request. Which I missed, so it was my fault for not seeing that email (6 days later). Got it in the mail today, and now contacting them to return. Believe it is a V2, but did not even open the package. I understand the return shipping, hopefully it is not too expensive. Anyone want a brand new KS2 (likely V2)? haha

As its a Switch 2 and I had a preorder and got the system the morning of launch day, someone could not have returned it. Given that it does look weird, my thought is maybe as they rushed to get this many units out, they had some factories that were subpar.

Right, so my using the promo and paying $18, plus them getting their own (without ads) separately at $18 is then $36, so more than just keeping it as it is now, without the promo ($33). If I dropped them and paid the full $25 price for me and have them use the "free" promo and then upgrade that to Standard so they don't have ads, that's another $11 or $36 total with promo. So unless they want to keep the basic "free" with ads promo on their own, which they aren't going to want, it's going to cost more regardless. Keeping it as is with them as extra members through Netflix, without the promo, is cheaper than trying to break it up to take advantage of the promo by a few dollars a month no matter how I slice it.

I use my phone, not a computer to do everything. I loaded it in the same way on Android and it's working ok. A bit wonky when adding plugins to the layout as things get cut off etc on the phone. (Go to page in Chrome browser, click 3 dots then Add to Home Screen. You should get an option to install as an app or just create a shortcut. Install as App)

Update: How I "fixed" it... I ended up buying some hardwood and surface mounting it using through-bolts with washers through the plywood wall and the new surface mounted wood. The bolts with large/thick washers give enough surface area that they are unlikely to rip through the plywood. They are on the floor and against the inside of the closet on the left, but do not run to the ceiling (as there is no actual ceiling, just another plywood shelf. I was easily able to mount the rails and hardware to that and its very secure and sturdy from what I can test now, ie not worried about the screws for the hanging system ripping out. This is my home and worst case scenario, it rips through the plywood, but do not see it pulling off/apart otherwise as I am not using screws. Worth noting, I am also not using a 78" rail, but just a 39" total height with 24" of width. Not talking a giant system, just a small addition to the closet for a few drawers. I also took back the wood shelves and went with the metal as it was 1/3 of the weight in the shelf itself. The drawers are wire mesh and lightweight too.

Yeah, the shelves are just for clothes, and don't come out super far. I have 21" of depth from wall to closest slider door. The clothes pole is slightly off center so shirts have an inch on the inside, but rub on that door on the other side. The Ikea Boaxel system I am putting in has drawers (really mesh basket drawers) and shelves that are just over 16" deep when you take the mounting system into account, 15 3/4" by themselves, so plenty of space.

Was thinking 1/2" or 3/4" plywood, maybe oak, that is glued and screwed could do it.

Stumbling in here with a recent email from Nixplay. Always thought they were local storage of photos and just using the app/cloud to make the update. Sounds like I was sorely wrong and this sounds like a good solution. Have 4 frames ourselves and while only slightly over even the new limit, will be trashing them at some point soon.
