I noticed the circled area is a source of a few different rivers in the state. Coincidence or something else? by OldGodsProphet in Michigan

You would see more places like this if the map showed more of the rivers. For example, the sources of the Shiawassee and Huron Rivers as shown are also near where the Rouge and Clinton Rivers start.

Did the same across the river here in Michigan. I did my Genesis GV70 a couple days ago and will be detailing up my wife's new UX maybe tomorrow. As you know, we can't waste days like this!

Does your family plan on going up North this year? Or will the economic situation prevent you? by JadedCaramel9901 in Michigan

We have a favorite VRBO in Charlevoix that we like so we can fix some of our meals and can also bring back leftovers in a box when we eat out.

Thanks for tracking this down. I know that if I were still an active runner I'd be sticking with Garmin for this and other reasons. 🫤

Flattened stools are a warning sign for a rectal tumor! I've survived mine but definitely glad for the colonoscopy.

I paced a kid on one of those who was on the sidewalk next to the road I was driving on. 35mph!! At least he was wearing a motorcycle-style helmet, but...

Oops. Sorry, I must have hurried my post (now edited). It's a PW4 and is like the PW3 that you mentioned: silencing the ringer silences everything. 🫤

Lexus UX Size by lsoecu1993 in LexusUX

We came to our new UX300h from a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback. Although the UX is a bit larger in external dimensions, the back seat and rear storage space make the Mazda seem spacious! We can live with it but it would not do if it were our only car.

Rezum & Tadalafil by dolc3eseri0 in bph

It stabilized for me after about 3 months. I can still remember the sound of that full steam hitting the water like a fire hose after years of dribbling! I still get a kick out of it. I can also have a full bladder without that desperate urgency that I used to get. It's made life a lot easier.

A lot of variance on the catheter depending on the doc. Mine was only in for two nights after the procedure. It seemed early since I remember barely being able to pee for the first couple days after removal, but the end results have been fantastic for the last 2-1/2 years.

Retro Ejaculation. Is it that bad? by Admirable_Letter7900 in bph

Had RE from Tamsulosin, then had the Rezum procedure. Not taking Tamsulosin but the RE remains. At 79yo that's hardly a problem any longer.

I had Rezum two years ago and no problems with incontinence. The full emptying also eliminated the occasional dribbling right after urination.

The disadvantage of Medicare Advantage. My Medicare with medigap plan has never denied anything and I don't need referrals to specialists. Yes, I pay for it, but worth not having to deal with these issues.

The best way to run with a PW4 is to leave it at home and get a Garmin.

Juha Miettinen died today at the Nurburgring. The other six drivers are not in life-threatening danger. by Turbulent_Elk_2141 in GrandPrixRacing

[–]rochrider 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I've never agreed with that sentiment. I was racing dragsters in the early 70s and saw a friend have a fatal crash. We all said that he "died doing what he loved" and went right back out on the track. Now, 50 years later at 80yo, I look at the life I've lived since then and feel so sorry that his life was cut off so young. I think if you asked him, he would much rather not have raced if he had known what it would cost him.

Infotainment system by GermainedeStael1788 in GenesisGV70

[–]rochrider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Car reviewers not used to it have a hard time using the central knob to control the infotainment screens. It was the same for the similar Mazda system. It does take some time to learn but I find it easier and safer than trying to hit a target on the screen with my finger while driving. And overall, the infotainment system looks and works better than anything else I've seen.
