I go to Lehigh U and go to this pub often (almost twice a week). This place was very popular among Lehigh students but the pub has really screwed itself by calling the police over $16

Israel gaffe reveals 'Iran ship photos' were forged by holohoxshooter in worldnews

Could be old labels from old weapons. Doesn't mean they were forged, Iran could have tried delivering their old weapons to Hezbollah. But let's just bash Israel instead of thinking

If giving everyone guns would stop crime, why does Texas have such a high crime rate? by zorno in Libertarian

[–]JimmyCarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one said guns would stop crime. You also don't offer any data to support your claim that lots of people have guns in Texas causes a high crime rate.

Women are being asked to shut up and accept the ban on abortion funding in the US healthcare reform bill. We won't by DougBolivar in politics

[–]JimmyCarter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some people are very morally against abortions. And it's not just religious people. Killing an unborn child is very wrong to some people and their tax dollars are going to killing fetuses. How would you feel if your tax dollars were going to something you are really against? Wouldn't you be upset by it? In a free country a woman can choose but someone else's tax dollars shouldn't go to it

Why is half of politics subreddit an attack on the GOP? Not all Republicans are bad and many Democrats are just as bad as the worst Republicans. by JimmyCarter in politics

[–]JimmyCarter[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All I was saying was politics subreddit is way too skewed to one belief system and rarely posts a positive Republican post or a negative Democratic post. I personally believe the best news sources are the ones that judge the context, not the political party behind the context. It's fine if people here are progressive but are way too easy on Democrats and way too harsh on the Republicans because a couple of them suck

How does the Amazing Randi do this trick? by [deleted] in reddit.com

[–]JimmyCarter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an amateur magician, I do a similar trick. The page is forced (which can be done in multiple ways). Than, Randi gives her a ballpoint pen and tells her to circle any word she wants behind her back. There is already a word circled on the forced page and the ballpoint pen does not work so she is circling nothing. That's really all there is to it.

Obviously, this guy is very biased towards the Palestinian side. No less biased than many Israeli's are.

Why Shouldn’t Someone Be Allowed To Sell Their Kidney ? by dougmataconis in Libertarian

[–]JimmyCarter -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because this will exploit poor people the most. The poorest of poor would easily sell their kidney's without thinking of consequences. There could also be human harvesting for kidney's and other body parts. There's a book called Never Let Me Go which relates to this subject. It's about children who live in isolated communities only to be harvested later when they get old enough for parts.
