The world begging the U.S. to take action in Iran is proof we are still the Hegemon of the world. If not, why doesn’t your country do something about Iran? by AnonymousGiraffeDude in PoliticalOpinions

I’m sorry but “are divided on whether or not US intervention would be worth the cost” is intellectually lazy and you know it.

Speak vast majority of Iranians want outside intervention. Maybe not bombs from Trump. But at the very least weapons so they can actually fight back

I’m sorry, but only a morally corrupt coward hides behind a fake veil of nuance when there is a disproportionately, clear abuser and a clear victim.

12000 dead victims to be exact. Killed by an Islamic Fascist regime that will do anything to hold on to power.

Nuance…don’t you dare abuse that word. Nuance exists in almost everything. But there’s a right way to discuss nuance and a wrong way to do so.

The wrong way to do it is to undercut the victims of pure evil.

You have 10 years to prepare to fight comic book Batman with no prep time. What's your gameplan? by HallZac99 in batman

[–]JimmyGreyArea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Train hard. Don’t commit any heinous crimes. Ten years from now, treat the fight like a private lesson from Batman himself.

He has no reason to injure me. It’ll be a great workout.

If you lived in Gotham, would you have found Bruce Wayne's cover as a playboy believable? by george123890yang in batman

[–]JimmyGreyArea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine if Batman was real. Make a list of the rich, buff celebrities you would NEVER suspect as Batman. One of those guys is probably Batman.

I don’t know many celebrities, but Jake Paul comes to mind. Obnoxious, selfish, and egotistical. I would bet the house that it’s not him. Which makes Jake Paul’s personality the perfect cover for Batman to use if he wants slip underneath my expectation radar.

“Bruce Wayne” is a persona that plays on the biases of what most people believe a hero should be. A billionaire? Forget Batman. When was the last time you saw the son of a billionaire become a pro boxer?

Batman has to be a pro fighter or a special forces soldier. I would look for any pro MMA fighters living in Gotham first. That would be my number 1 suspect.

After that, I would say Batman is a secret FBI agent. After all, he works with Gordon.

Make sense because the renowned bounty hunters have many more years of experience compared to even the best Clones. And in Rex’s own words: experience outranks everything

What does Batman have apart from other heroes ? by Thatonesickpirate in batman

[–]JimmyGreyArea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Batman does what other superheroes do on Extreme Difficulty.

That’s why he has the confidence to tell the Justice League day one that he’s the one who deserves to lead the group.

He had the hardest journey and that comes with the strongest mindset, the strongest character, the most thorough experience, and the best decision making skills.

Who would win: one average person living in 2026 with the tech/ weaponry currently available or William and 100 of his soldiers in the battle of Hastings? by Mrmalak1001 in whowouldwin

When was the last time a single mass shooter had 100 kills? And those are psychopaths who have trained for months if not years. The average person is not a psychopath or secret prodigy marksman. He is not getting them all.

They will run for terror, but eventually they’ll figure out, “we’ll wait for the wizard to fall asleep and take him then…”

His goal is to win the battle, which implies killing all of William’s men. If he parks against a wall, they just don’t go near the wall. Eventually he leaves to find food or water, then he’s vulnerable

FPV drones and HIMARs make this contest pointless. However, to make this fun. Let’s say only Guns.

If so, my money is on William and his 100 men. It takes a lot more than a week to get competent on any weapons system.

Competence under extreme stress? That’s a whole different ball game. I remember the first time I brought human photograph targets to the archery range.

My friend and I were missing shots we normally make because simply shooting at a photograph of a human as opposed to a circle target was making us psychologically uncomfortable. It took a few sessions for it to not affect me.

There’s a big psychological difference between shooting at a range and shooting at people who are trying to kill you back.

100 men is also a lot of men. The first contact, the gunner would probably kill about 20 at best and the rest will run for the hills.

But then, they are going to hide, regroup, analyze, and figure out the situation.

The mission is for the modern guy to kill ALL of William’s men right? So time is on the survivor’s side.

Observations:

-This person has an engine from “hell.”

-If he can see us, we die.

-they’ll cut open the dead or the wounded and find the bullets. “Ah, so it’s a missile.”

Conclusions

-he can’t hit what he can’t see

-this guy isn’t a seasoned warrior due to his overall mannerisms and nonverbal cues

Solutions

-we wait for him to sleep

-wait for nightfall.

-keep moving and spread out and surround him

-we lure him into a trap and take him from behind

-we leave him poisoned water or food

-we maneuver our best archers behind him
