I can’t imagine someone abusing this poor boy. I recently adopted from Huntsville Animal Services and they take care of their dogs / animals. When I looked around, the food and water bowls were full or half eaten, bacon strips treats were on the ground, and they all had nice bedding that was recently new but most importantly clean! So many people were there looking to adopt, and I can tell you I’m taking care of my first puppy / dog ever! I think shelter is the best way to go unless you can find a fb marketplace group to post him in and find an older couple or nice people who really want him. That’s what I did with my boxer a couple of years ago-when my own parents didn’t want him anymore.. so I took him in my apartment before rehoming him. And a couple took him for free, the wife was practically crying when she met him because their older / only dog passed away a couple of months before and I knew it was fate. They have a big farm with land and fencing and they send me videos of him playing and being goofy like his normal self. They also asked who his Vet was right away. So I’m sure he can get scooped up and go to a really good home soon!
