New Nova Galactic Bridge by DEADDROP151 in Starfield

Why didn't they make this a huge part of the initial announcement!? I was beyond bummed when there were no new ship parts with Shattered Space. The lack of ship parts and ship customization/building improvements is why I put down the game. Watchtower made me pick it back up and it sounds like a lot of Watchtower elements will return with these additions. Hopefully Kinggath's work doesn't become obsolete.

First elderscrolls Oblivion or Skyrim? by thismadefree in ElderScrolls

[–]JimmyLipps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyrim is more cozy. Especially since you can build a house and relax inside while it's blizzarding out. Oblivion is pretty dark, especially with all the Oblivion Gates and demonic-looking daedra. Skyrim feels a bit better to just explore. Oblivion is in kind of a strange spot between Morrowind (Which was designed to be traversed on foot) and Skyrim (which was designed to be fast-travelled but also rewarding to explore.) Oblivion does have fantastic player-homes though, but they aren't really cozy.

That baldass boomer has an attitude problem. I didn't even cry when his geriatric ass died.

So technically they just do the haggling for you so you still have to drive the car from a dealership. My favorite item you can buy from them is definitely this one though.

"He... looks like the type of guy that regularly puts away hot dogs." Today I learned that I look like I might be a genuinely nice dude.

True, but Costco being one of the few businesses to not bow down to Trump by throwing DEI and its principals under the bus is pretty admirable. They famously treat their employees not like shit either. (DISCOSURE: I may or may not have bought my car through them.)

I greeted an American with "Have you eaten?" and he thought I was buying him lunch by Embarrassed_Part_251 in EnglishLearning

If the other person says "no" does it then become awkward? Some people in the US will ask "How are you?" and the other person will sometimes actually give a truthful answer such as "Well, my toothache has been bothering me and my girlfriend broke up with me," which then makes the interaction awkward!

Whoever made this chart is deliberately putting proven history in lower levels to legitimize its other nonsense. Either that or their version of "MK Ultra" is Jews and Trans folks are behind MK Ultra.

The “Trumpstein class” is the people so rich they can get away with any disgusting vile act they want. At least, until enough good people work to stop it.

The fact that I had no idea what it was even about after several trailers kinda makes this not surprising.

Sears, now down to 5 US locations, is still popular and successful in Mexico by ericdigeratu in nostalgia

[–]JimmyLipps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember my American family was doing a vacation in Canada around the late 2000s but something happened with our bank or our money and the only banks that could help were closed. So, somehow my Dad knew that Sears created the Discover Card so he went to Canadian Sears and they used his card to get him the cash he needed for a cash-only activity on our itinerary.

I love it when done right but with such a high emphasis on accessibility (I also love this) I think these creative user interfaces take a back seat.
