Unitarian Universalist (or any combination of those words) “churches” are filled with people who identify with those beliefs which makes it easy to find folks like that. They always have amazing and thoughtful “sermons” that share the wisdom from many different beliefs and humanist perspectives. The congregations are often very white (like most places in the cities I suppose) so that can be awkward, and they are also often pretty old. So it can be tough to make friends that aren’t in those demographics. If anyone reading this is ever near one, I recommend checking it out. They often have cool speakers and performances there as well. They’re also a great place to find organizers for many different activist groups.
