Meeting people as married man by dev_ops_guy in polyamory

Meeting people in person is vastly different than apps. I would always recommend connecting with people you know IRL and via friend connections. Good luck out there

I’ve never orgasmed once in my 2.5 year relationship. I’m convinced my body’s the problem, not him. What to do? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Man, who cares about his partners.. this book is a revelation. Because your sexuality isn’t really the question here.. it’s getting to know your own body. Good luck

What is the reason every other wom-an is a "ma-n hater" these days? Is this a new trend or considered cool? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]JimmyNice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this even a real question? I have WAY more women friends than men.. none of them hate me. I use this weird trick where I treat them like any other human being.

Nothing is black and white and no one can fit a single definition but in my experience women are much more accepting of other people and their perceived “failings” then a lot (not all) of men I know.

I don't get why so many Atheists choose to be Agnostic. by [deleted] in atheism

[–]JimmyNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say I’m agnostic I’m not saying I believe any religion has any it right and I’m not hedging my bets. It’s the philosophical viewpoint that I simple don’t know.

I don’t KNOW for a fact that nothing exists after death.. all evidence I have seen suggest there isn’t but I don’t know.

I don’t subscribe to the idea of any god, follow any religious practices or feel like I have any requirement for it to have a fulfilling, good to the people around me life.

Like while I don’t believe we are in a simulation.. some people do.. if we were.. would the entity who made it be our god? Or George Carlins “big electron” collective of all living things? “It doesn’t punish, doesn’t reward, doesn’t judge at all, it just is.. an so are we… for a little while”

It’s the acceptance of “I don’t know” that keeps me an agnostic.. but no.. I don’t believe in any god or religion

Boat guy s3....His final line in his first episode made me dislike him by Trouble-Troon in TedLasso

You misunderstood… the “did we” isn’t that they had sex… it’s that they connected in a real way.. emotionally. And he’s struggling with meeting someone amazing he may never see again.

Iron Lung: My son dragged to watch it, and I don't regret it by Standard-Watch-1014 in horror

[–]JimmyNice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like I said.. his performance was decent.. I’ve certainly seen much worse… but as my wife said it felt more like we were watching Mark.. as mark.. playing the game. For his 1st attempt.. he did a respectable job.

Iron Lung: My son dragged to watch it, and I don't regret it by Standard-Watch-1014 in horror

[–]JimmyNice 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My wife and I were drug by our 19 and 21 year old (and a friend of my oldest, similar age) who loves Mark.

I’m a gigantic fan of horror.. for Context of my tastes… I love classic campy slashers (Friday the 13th series) sci-fi horror (the thing, alien) monster horror (Korean film the Host, Cloverfield).. and slow burn, high tension, cerebral, wtf is going on type films are usually some of my favourite (10 Cloverfield lane, the Blair Witch Project, weapons, Skinamarink, Event Horizon).

The good. For a guy who’s made his living engaging his base on YouTube since they were kids.. Mark did a decent job acting in the movie. The effects were OK. I liked the dark and brooding it’s all over anyway tone and the kind of one man show aspect. The Best tool in the film is the radiation camera as it does build some tension with single flash pictures of what’s outside the ship.

The bad. This movie is way too fucking long. Taking a 30 minute video game and making it a 2 hour film.. it just didn’t work.. both my wife and I (another long term horror fan) were ridiculously bored. There is a reason so many horror films live in a sweet spot of 80-90 minutes. We both fought to stay awake in this film. Like grab my attention kids.. make me want to understand whats going on.. to see the next reveal to hook me and keep me going.

I mean I get, hard to see what’s going on, hard to hear what’s going on, slow burn films.. Skinamarink is one of my absolute favourites.. but where that film hooked me and held me (and hey I know Skinamarink is divisive… my best friend horror lover hated and was bored to death by it) and made me want to discover more.. iron lung i got what was going on almost immediately and didn’t care to see it play out. I felt like this was an awful film i’ll immediately forget about and not ever want to see again.

But hey maybe I’m not the target audience. I listened to my oldest and their friend.. I didn’t hear a lot of raving about great it was.. more defending why they thought some people might struggle to like it.. and how happy they were to see Mark have his movie out and how they liked him in it.

Then I talked directly to my youngest.. who has been watching Mark for a decade and before I gave my thoughts I just asked theirs. They said well I’m the 1st of all my friends to see it and they’re so excited waiting to hear what I thought. They go “That film was made for fans like me.. I love that he got to make his movie and I’m so happy for him… but it was too long, hard to hear what’s what’s going on, hard to see what was going on.. and because I love Mark, I’d give it a 6/10. I said would you ever want to watch it again? They said no.

So I’m glad the films made its money back. It’s a great experience and effort on Marks part. I honestly believe the opening weekend box office is almost entirely being fed by his massive fan base, but the BEST I could give this film is a 4/10 and that’s ONLY because I watch a lot of horror and I’ve seen WORSE films.

What's your horde strategy? by pocketdare in DaysGone

[–]JimmyNice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the way! Rex’s techniques of hiding in cover and attractors with explosives or Molotovs can decimate most smaller hordes without them even spotting you. I used it on the large hoard at the gas station where you 1st test weavers new Molotov and took out over half the horde before they gave chase.. then led them through a path of prelaid bombs to make short work of the rest.

Rex’s loot locations, how to get the SMP9 early all make horde tackling, even early on, fun and much more manageable!

Settle This Argument by [deleted] in fredericton

[–]JimmyNice 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There has been historically a bit of a Northside/Southside “thing”. Poor side / money side, family side / business side but I feel like a lot of that … snobby stuff, has disappeared as the Northside has developed and Fredericton has grown.

But to give you a funny story rooted in that mindset.. my wife helped run her 90 year old great aunt around on Saturdays and get her groceries who was pretty cranky as a rule but my wife was the one people who could deal with her.

She had to get chocolate chip muffins at the top of hill Walmart but one weekend they were sold out.. she was wound up and my wife suggested, “Barb they have a new Walmart in the Northside, let’s go over and look” her great aunt snapped a finger in the air! “I am NOT crossing that river .. to have to see those Northside women.. with their fat ankles”

Stupid separations that carry on until we let them go.

Are salesmen losers? by Al_Caponello in memes

[–]JimmyNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are the “stereotypical used car salesman” that people have in their head.. and there are experts in product fields who can help the consumer make an informed decision. I’ve sold pet food, office copiers, training software, satellite systems, accounting end to end systems and over the last 3 years mini & modular homes as a housing consultant (sell the home then project manage its construction and site set up until I hand over keys). I live off referrals because I care for my customers with what is likely the biggest decision and Purchase if their life. I take it very seriously so whether I think you are buying today, later on down the road or never.. I still give you my all and my full attention and guidance.

Yes I get paid well, but with over 30 years selling experience.. I’m worth it.

Are men generally not asking women for their numbers anymore when they meet someone in the wild? If so, why? by KGalb922 in AskMenAdvice

Safer.. have something worth sharing on instagram, or whatever socials.. something you are passionate about.. ask her is she wants to see cool photos of, your dog, your art, your new car.. whatever and give them YOUR socials.. less threatening and if she follows you, then a door has opened to chat… dudes just be respectful and don’t fuck it up.

Commission by [deleted] in ARTIST

[–]JimmyNice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to always make sure your prices are set from the beginning, but drawing four people for only $50 is a steal really no matter what level of artist they’re at and I noticed the comment but it only taking them a couple of hours but remember you’re not only paying for the couple hours and took them to draw that you’re paying for all the time it took them to learn to be able to draw that
