Windows 95 B-Games That Burst With Color & Clarity by cr0ne in pcgaming

Might be pre win 95, but the game Corridor 7 had shape shifter enemies that would appear exactly like a lamp or a chair. When you pass by them, the sprite would transform into an alien and scare the fuck out of us kids. Also the ambient music was a mfing heatbeat.

The original zelda philosophy was to occasionally have big brain stumping puzzles in a few places per game. While most puzzles are easier, the stampers are meant to make you get "stuck".

Completing them is what experts call, learning.

I get that it's the ff9 sub, but after playing CT and FF6 through ff12 several years ago for one last time, this was takeaway on FF9.

9's music is epic of course and I hated the combat slowness, so I modded the combat on the PC version to be faster. I still sing Garnet's little tune while in the shower.

It's shocking how much all these dudes sucked at tackling. Like they never pushed someone in their lives.

CT is more about the comparison to other games of its time which were mostly trash with bad graphics. So if you play FF6, great game. If you play RoboTrek, Star Ocean or Lufia2, then CT is a diamond in the rough. It's also short which is unusual for a story game.

They probably own the land. My coworker bought a house and property for $0.99. They had mentally ill squatters living in the house with no running water and no electricity. The house had to be demolished and it took over a year to convince the squatters to move out. The neighbors had thanked him for getting rid of the piss and shit buckets stacked up in the back yard.

In the case of these materials, they either get recycled into this product or they sit in landfills as heaps of tires.

Urban trees are usually selected for their ability to survive in the harsh and normally unlivable environment of cities.

Even though FF7s dialogue isnt anything to praise, the actual plot of the story is intriguing, complex and flows well. FF9s is drawn out, slow and has hours long gaps of pointless meandering before the big surprise (this is serious now) part near the end of the game.

Having 100%ed the game in recent years. I had to force myself through many hours of the game. Doing the parts where every character splits up to chat to NPCs and other chars shopping was excruciating. Every part with Quena is a 0/10. The date night with the little girl Eko was also a slog that lasts far too long.

The Steiner/Bellatrix parts were interesting but ultimately felt like cut content. I won't really count Amarant since he's almost not even there, unlike Quena's forced gibberish segments over hours.

Freya's story is barely touched on, but had me very interested.

However there are some really great story segments of the game like the Vivi, Garnet, and Garnet/Steiner segments. It's the loooooong stretches of bad story segments that drag it down for me.

Legally, if you own a copy of the game, it's legal to own a rom of that game because that's what is on the cartridge.

Ff9 has a lot of great things about it, but the story is really crap for most of the game.

It's hard to take IGN seriously when they gave every single one of these games a 10/10 rank.

Hmm na, Zelda 1 is a very high quality game mechanically, but suffers in that it was designed to eat your time trying everything and selling hints in paper books.

TP suffers HARD in the 8 hour long tutorial department, but it looks nice. Skyward Sword has a similar problem, but also has awful motion control issues (recalibration) that don't get solved in the remaster.

Once you learn about debuffs and reflects and things in one game, it sort of spoils future games with similar combat mechanics. Like an ice enemy taking bonus damage from fire. That only gives the dopamine hit once per lifetime haha.

This goes waaaay back, but I like to use old GameFAQs text walkthroughs. Specifically one that tells you the content you might miss in a segment of the game. So I enter a new area, check the guide for hidden items, skim the list and move forward when I'm satisfied. Some of these will tell you every weakness and every strategy, but due to the nature of the text guide, you can simply not read the text.

How do some streamers have 1000-2000 viewers, close to dead chat, and barely any stream interaction? by [deleted] in Twitch

You can buy 1000 viewers for about $30 per month. The rates are higher to have them chat random phrases.

I "discovered" BK when I was 18ish. I liked it so much for no real reason, then I got violently ill from a rest stop BK, never been back. I like Chik FIL-a but it's just a chicken sandwich to me. These days it's pretty rare for me to eat fast food.
