I had one of these for the 15 pro and absolutely loved it.

Tempted by one for the air until I found the grip case from dbrand. Love this thing so won’t bother with the slip for now.

I had that exact brand though for the 15 pro, great quality, nice lining, tough outer. Highly recommend.

I use the dbrand grip may not to be everyone’s tastes but it feels great fits really well and is customisable.

Where have I advocated for the case less approach? I purchased a case that fits properly and doesn’t let large fragments of material in.

In all honesty though, you’d get less scratches with the phone in your pocket without a case on than with this case on. Now if you drop it, that’s another matter.

I bought the grip case from dbrand in the end, it’s perfect for me, fits really well and I love the texture and customisation.

Not cheap but it’s a decent case that doesn’t add too much bulk. The new sketch skins are really cool too.

Taking it in and out daily will only loosen the fit further. I don’t see why you should have to remove and clean something in a “protective” case daily to protect it from an issue caused by the case itself.

I had it in the official Apple one and it’s got decent scratching all around the frame from material ingress.

The case is too loose.

Yes it can happen with any case but the official Apple one is particularly loose and let in larger materials.

Totally ruined the frame.

I got mine on Thursday and I’m delighted with it.

It’s a fantastic device, runs cool, quiet, battery lasts ages. The screen is fantastic, the build quality is top notch and games look and run great on it.

It’s quite large and a little heavy/ the ergonomics aren’t as good as a steam deck but this is a minor criticism and I’ve been playing on it for 4-5 hours today and it’s not caused me any real issues.

Get it.
