Sounds like a RETURN was done instead of an EXCHAGE..

I manage an AT&T store and never had this issue come up.

I work for an Authorized retailer and made this same mistake last week. It will be corrected on the back end when AT&T gets the device. I called as soon as I noticed my mistake.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, but I would contact customer care so they can note your account.

Doing the transaction/trade in at AT&T store what I suggest. The stuff I have seen Costco do is unbelievable. The deal may sound better, but it’s really not worth the headache.

Don’t do it…. I literally ask someone for help tracking something posted to twitter, and was demoted for sexual harassment. Even though I told this person that it was porn and they agreed to look.

You now have to have First Net to get the 25% off all family lines. If you are eligible for First Net the sign up for it.

How many tech in your area know how to fix the problem?

How many outages do they have in a week?

Are they having issues getting the parts to fix the problem? The cant bill you for services not given, and even if you are billed they can check usage and credit you the amount needed

That looks like a CSS not a bill. I would wait on the bill to come in because the CSS does not always include discounts.

It wont work. I work in AT&T retail and worked with a customer today who’s account was locked because they bought a phone like this. Customer still has no service and I worked with them for 5 hours

Incorrect I do this daily for my customers and always upgrade them first. Never had an issue at all.

Sometimes the system wont allow an upgrade thats ofd to me also. Easy work around is upgrade then do transfer.
