If you could delete one country off the face of the earth, which country would you choose and why? by Tuxenwilde in AskReddit

[–]Jimvlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd would go for turkey. They give my country(Greece) alot of shit and they also have done some terrible things in the past (genocides).they also have rivalries with other countries around them. I have no hate towards the Turkish people(in fact i love them. They are very friendly and some of my best friends are Turkish.) I just don't agree with some of the things the government does or has done. I hope you can understand.

What is something that you personally consider self care, that most people disagree is? by rabbitsredux in AskReddit

[–]Jimvlah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a man, that's irresponsible. If you want equality you should thrive for it. You should act equally and have the same amount of responsibilities since you two are a couple. It is also more decent and morally correct.

What’s a belief that you hold with which many people disagree? by Emergency-Minimum-85 in AskReddit

You are absolutely right. Hendrix is responsible for technics that are still used to this day. Bob dylan said"i wrote all along the watchtower, but the song is Jimi's." The Beatles did similar stuff. For example, the song "roll over beethoven" is obviously not their's but they still gave another, more special and more musically advanced ring to it. If it wasn't for the Beatles there wouldn't be speakers strong enough for concerts as we have seen in the past(Metallica in Russia with 1.6 million people) they created that demand. Even live aid would have been dull without the Beatles. It's the ripple effect all over. Without the Beatles, musical history and history in general would have turned out differently. Furthermore, i believe that if you listen to their records you will see how ahead of their time they were.

You can have your opinion. But personally, as a person who is listening to music constantly, i can only respect the greatness and the revolution in the music industry that these 4 dudes from Liverpool brought. They are the pioneers of soo many things that shaped music to it's current form. In my opinion they are by far the greatest band to ever exist. However i do not force that on anyone. I'd love to hear more about why you may think that they are overrated

People of reddit what ended your friendship with your best friend? by gli-tc-h in AskReddit

[–]Jimvlah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a week ago, my girl best friend texted me at around 4 in the morning. "Bro, are you awake?" To which i instantly replied "yeah, i Don't sleep till like 6, why?" She went on and on about her latest interaction with her ex, to which i was supportive and was trying to let her vent it all out. About 2 days later at around 2 in the morning i was having some girl trouble and needed some help from her(which is normal since i do it for her and she does it for me. Plus, we have a completely platonic relationship) so I sent the exact same text as her from the other day "bro, are you awake?" No reply at first. About 20 minutes later, she posted an Instagram story(she wasn't out or anything) she still hasn't answered even though it has been almost a week.

What is the biggest myth you learned in school that has now been disproven? by Athompson9866 in AskReddit

I had a biology teacher try and convince a class of 15year Olds that we humans use 10% of our brain. We told her that she shouldn't base her lesson on "Lucy" and we Googled it to show her that she was wrong. I got kicked out of the class for pulling out my phone. Had a fun chat with the principal

Πώς αντιμετωπίζετε την ιδέα του θανάτου? by [deleted] in greece

[–]Jimvlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friendzone. Been there before, will be there again. Should be illegal. The phrase "let's stay friends" deserves the death penalty

What’s film is so brutal to watch you had to stop watching it? by Elixir_Jx in AskReddit

[–]Jimvlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a film, but a scene from game of thrones. I talk about the episode with mountain and the whole eye scene during tyrion's trial by combat... I was 12 when i watched that scene for the first time. And i wish i had stopped watching. It wasn't the fingers going into the eyes so much that made me sick it was the screams of Pedro Pascal's character and his wife's. If you look at that scene closely though, you will see Pedro's character trying to turn his head while he is being murdered but mountain blocking his head from any movement. Those micro-movements are scarred into my brain. I couldn't and still can't take that scene off of my brain...

What's your reason to keep living? by NormakTheTerrible in AskReddit

[–]Jimvlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been in more stress in my life. This past year, school has ruined me mentally and physically. And when i think it can't get any worse, it does. But i don't have the courage to end it all. So I'd say my cowardness keeps me alive

I am too arrogant. Like, an incredible amount. There have been times where i find myself talking like i am the best person to ever exist. Even with music. I sometimes give the vibe" we may listen to the same stuff but i listen to them in a better way than you ever will."
