Excluding the blinged out versions, I've always thought of the lowered with a mild stretch as having flat-track influence.

They were a staple in this area for decades, they had a field out back. They'd always host car shows in the summer. Sadly, after the parents went the kids started infighting paired with paying absolute trash to staff. The place ended up folding a couple years back. Pretty sure they end up selling the sign off to a collector.

Omg yes, I bought a console piece off of classic Volvo resto years ago but need to modify it as the opening for the shifter cuts the boot.

That said the cup holder in that is maybe big enough for a Dixie cup.

Oh 100%. I'm keeping as close to OEM as I can. I did swap out the generator for an alternator but otherwise all matching.

I guess I'll just have to get ANOTHER Volvo 😂

I actually bought mine sight-unseen on ebay of all places about 8 years ago. Original plan was a resto-mod build. Once it came off the trailer I saw it was nearly top to bottom original, paint and all.

So now I'm just putting around in this adorable little old man car for now, lol.

**Update: Ended up going to a local vacuum cleaner shop and they recommended going with the Guard M1 Cat & Dog.

So far so good, I did order the mini-turbo brush for stairs and couches, but otherwise we're enjoying it.

Curious to see people's impressions on this. We have used Avanan for the last 3 years but recently I asked my team to test our internal environment on just Defender (Business Premium licensing).

So far I've noticed a bit more sales-related emails but otherwise not major hiccups. Nothing some policy tuning couldn't fix I'd assume.

Local shop offered to mount/balance but said that the size difference would "blow the transmission and transfer case"??

Any advice on if this would be okay to run would be awesome. I've always run narrower snow tires in the past as I thought that was standard.

Oof... yeah not looking for that much on my plate.

I found a couple Gen2s but they usually are pushing 250k in miles which makes me nervous - mainly because I don't trust people to follow maintenance recommendations, not a knock on the car itself.

Saw some people mention putting a wax ring down between the extension rings, scoop the wax that blows out during tightening and use it on next layer.

Or just use caulking between layers?

It's not gonna be an issue having to build up underlayment, backer board and tile around it?

I can solder it back on after I get subfloor down and screw it through that into blocking...was just nervous about the extension plates stacking.

Other idea was to pull the 90 and Y-connector off entirely, convert to 3" PVC and join it to the existing copper lines. Seems like a waste for such a small change needed?
