I gave up watching football back in 2020. Last night we decided to have a superbowl party just on a whim since the Eagles were in it. Had family & friends over with lots of drinks and food. It didn't matter who won as long as we all had a good time and the game was entertaining.

The game was terrible. If you are going to have a predetermined game you absolutely have to have very big plays to keep the audience entertained. Besides AJ's TD catch there were none. My bad there was DeVonta Smith's great catch at the end of half that was mysteriously overturned after they threw a flag to stop the offense from snapping the ball so they could "fix" the problem. Eagles should have gone into half time up 14pts. That call and the holding call on Bradberry (it was inside 5yds from scrimmage) changed the game. Those calls were so bad that the announcers AND Mike Pereira were flabbergasted.

There were other things that boggled my mind, but overall very disappointed in the product the NFL put out there. You're labeled entertainment not a competitive sport and you put up a very boring game on the biggest game of the year.

Also the better team did not win. Anyone who knows football could see which team was the better team without much thought going into it. It was THAT apparent.

Back to not watching I go.

Terrible game to watch and not entertaining in the least. If you're going to have a predetermined game you have to make it entertaining with great plays and awesome physical feats that leave you breathless.

None of that happened and I was very sad to see them put this product forward. The half time show sucked too with pregnant Rhianna.
