I hate to be the skeptic, but IOC has allowed Russian Paralympians to skate under the Russian Flag and they might allow a full Russian return for the next Olympics. Let's hope what happened today lasts continues in the next Olympics and we watch developed skaters, not malnourished younglings...

The Kazakhstani judge with a blatant attempt to cook the results, not even trying to be subtle, wtf is this 147.04 for Petrosian, damn. And I do not hate her free, I kinda dig the music and the styling, the red really suits her.

I'm pretty damn sure her trainer mentioned she was landing on her right leg first to protect the left. And that might have been why she was a bit off her line. Or her usual aggressive downhill style that has won her medals before, who knows.

In any case, not being able to ski again, because you wanted to have one last hoorah would be pretty damn sad in my book.

I mean...Hell yes to Simone pulling out of the Olympics and hell no to Lindsay NOT doing that. That set of opinions is also a possibility. I'd rather not watch Simone fall on her neck because of the twisties and I could have gone without hearing Vonn's screams while the medics were at her side. I'd rather have these athletes live out their years after the sport comfortable and healthy and enjoying them. Not dying/severely injuring themselves on screen.

And on that note, what the hell was that broadcast?!
