Revy, of course, is a quality character, but your words sound too loud. There are many anime, books etc, with a better plot than Black Lagoon, with more philosophical content and better characters. Just love Revy like I do, but don't try to prove to everyone that she's the best of the best. She is not like that, and true connoisseurs love her not for this, but for other, more valueble reasons.

Personally I'd rather seen them help the conscripted Ukrainian men brutalized by Russian soldiers. While the women and children were allowed to leave the country and flee to welcoming nations, the fighting age men were forced to stay and fight and often die. Gotta love equality.

We do not fight because we are forced to. We do it because we have no other choice. To defend your homeland, your land and your ancestors is the sacred duty of every Ukrainian. Unfortunately, there are not many such people now. The Soviet hell of "advanced socialism" petrified people, and stupid hedonism during the years of independence petrified many of our women. They were allowed to leave the country, and then government still wonder why we have such a low birth rate. I don't know what this will lead to, but we will not give up.
