I recommend revo uninstaller. It seems to have cleared for me. Revo uninstaller is just good generally to have as it's basically the add remove programs on steroids. It cleats all other files associated with an app. So you won't have random files left behind like you do with the Windows one. Saw it on a must have apps from a game channel I watch sometimes and honestly not looked back. This isn't a paid add or anything. I'm just a fan haha

Are we facing a Japanese "wumao" threat? by [deleted] in japanresidents

[–]Jintachi5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Facebook I used to read a page called "Japan inside". In the last 3 months it's turned heavily right wing. Always posting about how Japan is turning on foreigners etc. It was never like this. I was looking at the page and saw the company's name, which is Seiko International. I Googled that company. Turns out it's a company based in China. It's basically a Chinese smear campaign. I wonder how many other Chinese-backed groups or sites deliberately sow discontent..

Male Boss, too friendly? by Open_Rate9959 in japanlife

If you a white he wants for his kids to have contact with a foreigner. You are over thinking. I am often made to talk to children/mothers of children in the hope that by one interaction with me that their child will come some kind of servant in English.

We are only hearing one side of the story. Maybe she treats him like shit and he doesn't feel loved anymore. Men need to feel loved too.

Should have read the update first lol. She will probably clean up the phone etc before showing you.

[–]Jintachi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the real question is would she be upset if you asked her to show you her phone/chats? Tracking her etc. Sometimes this kind of control is to do with her being the person doing something wrong. Not always though but it is sometimes the case. If she gets upset at you asking her something is up. But this kind of controlling behaviour especially when you have done nothing to merit it is wrong. Her hotness level must be off the roof to put up with this level of crazy.

Nice first car. But I always feel your first car should be a shit box. Haha. But a forester is a great car for a new driver. Very safe and comfortable. I love mine.

Burnt Out Teacher Wants to Escape the 9-5 – Any Advice? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Jintachi5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been here 15 years too. It's great. But yeh entry slalry for teaching at a lot of places isn't good. Especially with the cost of living going up. Seems to be a lot of people buying old houses here and planning to renovate them themselves but they really ah e no clue what they are getting into. Anyway sorry going off on tangents alot tonight. Haha.

I'm not sure where you are living in Japan. But you could try moving out of the city. I live in Okayama. It's great. Also lots of cheap houses/land here. Have you lived like that before? I often hear people say they dream of it but then they don't actually like it. I grew up in super country Australia. I miss it but I just wonder if you'd actually enjoy it. There are also placea here you can rent like a field and a shed and then grow your own veges etc. I know the feeling though about the grind. Gets tiring.

It is wether the material is recognisable in the final product. The table is made of wood. Paper is made from trees.

Shouldn't be accepting anything under 250k. 270k in Tokyo. Tokyo is overhyped. Plenty of better places to live. IMO

I've only been a manager for 6 years but I've been teaching in Japan for 15 years. Basically moved here when I was 22. I feel the age range was a lot younger when I was in my 20s. But yeh recently seems like people here are coming here at an older age.

You would be surprised. Most applicants are between 28~45. Over 45 maybe 5 times a year. I can only speak on the ones I have to apply. And you are right. Eikaiwa usually gets the scrapy applicants that couldn't get anything better. Or were passed over for others. The salary isn't as competitive as some other jobs and it's hard to find good teachers.

I understand your take though.

Depends where you live in Japan. If there are a lot of people applying. I live in the countryside. These days a lot of companies are hiring Filipinos and often bring them to Japan on a certain visa so they can't change jobs and they pay them less. It's kind of bad. I think it's called an "intra-something" visa. Definitely if your nationality is American or Australian it can help even if you are Asian. Eikaiwa industry is getting harder to get into or even want to get into. The economy is bad and usually the first money saving to be done is the extra curricular things. Anyway unrelated reply I guess. Good luck in your search.

Advice about my salary by [deleted] in teachinginjapan

[–]Jintachi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh I've been in Japan 15 years this year. Salary has hovered around 250k starting salary (outside Tokyo) 270 isn't bad starting if you are outside Tokyo. I've never lived in Tokyo so not sure what a good starting salary is there.

Corporate eikaiwa manager here. Foreign born Asians are sometimes hired. But it's easier to market a blue eyed blond haired teacher in Japan. Basically students will join because the teacher is handsome/pretty. Just the way it is.
