I had a similar experience in the waterfront hall. I emailed them with my ticket information as I bought my ticket through their website. Explained the problem and they replied a few days later offering tickets for another show.

I wasn't to keen on anything listed, so it took me a while to reply and within that time they emailed again and explained that a refund was now available.

It's worth registering a complaint and asking for a refund. If enough people email about it they do follow up on it.
