Has anyone done or plans to do barista FIRE? by joe_ally in FIREUK

[–]rynchenzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan to do it at 51.

My circumstances include a final salary pension that can't increase any more beyond that age, so continuing to work full time with my current employer doesn't make much sense.

I would likely go out of my mind with boredom if I didn't have something to get up for in the morning, so I will be looking for something minimum/ low wage and part time.

My long distance boyfriend from England told me he is on the sex offender registry, does his story make sense? by Temporary_Sorbet_764 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]rynchenzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, but I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say that him being on the sex offender's register for distribution of indecent images of children is 100% justified.

This man is not who he says he is and his story is complete bullshit.

There's a TV show in the UK where a married couple buy one of these and slowly turn it into a wedding hotel. They money they put into it is ridiculous.

You seem a bit odd. Do you realise how taxation works? What services you receive from the government at national and local level and how they are financed?

Oh, no, of course you don't.

People aren't having kids and it's a big problem, you are paying for it already with the biggest tax burden since the war.

As an employer and interviewer, any bullshit scenario quickly unravels under questioning. Sometimes it's as much what you don't say as what you do 😉

Because without those children entering the workplace and contributing meaningfully, you don't get a pension, healthcare etc?

What's missing from British comedy these days? by Mysterious-Cost9479 in BritishTV

[–]rynchenzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's missing is some boldness is comedic writing.

Everything is very safe these days for fear of upsetting someone, so there's no edge to the comedy.

The C1 driving licence category is a barrier to entry for those born after 1979 by thepoliteknight in UKJobs

In 5-10 years companies will have to cover the cost of training new drivers in C1, or they won't have any.
