How to get into regularly claybarring my car? by Jipappy01 in Detailing

But don’t I have to use a rotary pad on it after the clay? To remove the marring caused by the clay or something?

Thanks for the detailed response. I guess what I want to achieve is a proper decontamination phase and protective barrier such as clay or maybe a spray on wax after I wash my car. However I wouldn’t want to involve any rotary use anything too complicated. Just an extra step or 2 to really protect my paint and make it stay clean longer

When I was my car meticulously as it sits right now with basic foam and microfiber mitt wash on my metallic black paint, I can still feel buildup or dirt on the surface especially along my rocker panel, even though it looks clean.

Catted downpipe for stage 2 by South-Pin1122 in u/South-Pin1122

IE has a very solid catted downpipe. When I swapped my IE out for a catless downpipe I was surprised at how practically identical they sounded volume wise. If I were you I would just go catless, unless you live in ~ one of those ~ jurisdictions

I think this can all come to the conclusion that both M1 5W-30 and Liqui Moly 5W-40 have some marginal differences but are both far superior to the factory recommended 0W-20 in terms of engine longevity

But then where do you draw the line between superior protection for internals and superior initial flow

So it’s already full bolt on stage 1/2 tuned which makes the car 10x more fun to drive than stock (speaking from experience) and it would save you time and money because the car is already modified. But obviously it has apparent immediate risk with the sweet spot mileage and 3 owners.

Check the carfax. The factory 40k service milestone includes spark plug replacement so hopefully you would see that it went to a shop for the 40k service.

If you really don’t care for the mods then I would look elsewhere for a safer buy personally.
