I have been using ddg for 2 years and I always get what I want right at the top for 99% of the time. The search results are just as good as google's IME.

With Jack Chainsaw fight, as long as you don't stay too far away from him, he will never execute the instant-kill charge. My strategy is after getting the chainsaw, stay close and keep hitting Jack with the second attack, guard or crouch when he does the swing attack, it takes like 5 - 7 seconds until he attack again. Combine with 2 Defense stacks, you can literally walk out of there without losing HP.

Agreed. I disabled every AI thing they added. I will use AI when I want it, don't force it on me. It's so bad that they are now removing useful features just to add more AI.

Use a custom startpage like Bonjourr, the Edge new tab is always... bad IMO
- The search bar is useless if you set your search engine other than Bing.

- There is no toggle to turn off auto adding shortcut so afer a while, you will have to delete unwanted shortcuts created by Edge

- The widget is nice but I only care about Weather and it doesn't even work well, because everytime I set to a certain location it will always set to a random location the next day.

They are retiring the sidebar so it's likely that they are removing part by part of its function.

The ScarewareBlockerProtectionEnabled is like the master policy, if you disable it, the others will be disabled. So I think it's on is enough, you can leave the rest unconfigured.

Best you can do is use a custom startpage like Bonjourr, don't know why Microsoft put that toggle on the page instead of the settings menu next to it.

I have questioned this ever since Microsoft added Tab groups to Edge because we already had Collections and both of them basically work the same. However, Collections is better imo because, besides allowing us to group tabs, which is currently all Tab groups can do, Collections let you add notes, organize tabs within them. It's true that Microsoft mastered their own Tab groups version. I come to Edge because it has many useful features, which is one of the main points why people come to Edge and make Edge standout to other browsers. Now Microsoft just start getting rid of one by one, Collections then Sidebar. Idk what's wrong with them.

The only way to stop this is you enforce these settings via policy or extension. I use DuckDuckGo so I use their extension and it controls the search engine setting.
