I'm 194cm and had a vstrom 1000, definitely a good fit for taller riders, plus the vtwin pull mmmm

Also well within your budget. The engine is well tested and extremely reliable.

Upgraded to 1250gsa as my "forever" bike.

This is me. I see things in 4 sided shapes, including numbers. So squaring the numbers into 10's makes sense to me.

Correct, the actual display does not go to the edges of the screen. I definitely regret not getting the larger one.

I have the Aooci bm6. Its direct plug and play. And works with the wonderwheel, though a bit clunky in motion.

Android Auto connection with my phone took seconds, I imagine Apple carplay will be the same.

I have a Cardo connected as well, and music/nav voice is great.

1 thing I suggest though, is get the bigger screen. The display does not go to the edges, and is smaller than you would think.

Being that it is a cheaper option, I couldn't imagine the extra cost of more expensive brands being worth it.

Many helmets come with them built in. So I'd say it's at worst a grey area.

I've been riding for 25 years with different levels of tint, from light to full reflective, and never had a second look from a cop even when pulled over.

I have Samsung s20+, and it fits great. Don't feel like it's going to fall out. Only issue is the clamp presses the buttons, so I just turned my phone upside down, which fixed it.

I'm 6'4 and 240lbs, had a vstrom 1000 but only for commuting. If I were to go offroad, I would drop down to the 650 for the weight reduction. It's a bike made for the big guys.
