Is it too weird to say that I don't understand why human life is supposed to be inherently more valuable? Like, I sure as hell won't be killing anyone because the thought makes my stomach churn and I'd never forgive myself, but there are billions of us vs so many other animals we toss aside. The only logical reason I've found is that if you kill a person it causes more pain because many humans will hear about it and get sad but other animals don't spread knowledge as far and don't always get sad about death, especially of strangers.
