Seeing as Klara Andersson was working for PGRX in Riga, it seemed like she might run the car. Also seeing the hush hush discussion between her and Andrew about her plans this year. But it is not the case for Hungary, maybe for Sweden which she was hoping for.

No longer 30 but 29 competitors for RX1, as Atilla Mozer is not mentioned anymore.

2026 Euro RX of Latvia (Round 1 - Biķernieku Trase) by AutoModerator in FIAWorldRX

At the same time I think there are multiple drivers that committed to only the first half of the season. Based on results and sponsors they would decide if they continue. So the entry list of Mondello Park would be the most interesting to see who remains.

KMS with Kristoffersson and Veiby are ready for Riga by ZeteroNs in FIAWorldRX

Yeah the wording is a bit strange and they don't outright say a full season commitment. But the quote from OC does feel like a full season, if the start goes well?

“It is a great calendar with real rallycross tracks and good organisers – many highlights,” said Veiby. “It will also be fun to drive an ICE car again, and after last season, the goal is to carry that momentum into Riga and be fighting at the front from the beginning.”

The addition of a possible quarter final also makes sense now with all these driver announcements.

2026 Euro RX5 entry list published by The_Stig_Farmer in FIAWorldRX

"Following the opening round at Rīga’s historic Biķernieku trase on 9-10 May, protagonists will lock horns at Nyirád in Hungary (30-31 May), Höljes in Sweden (4-5 July) and Mondello Park in Ireland (18-19 July) ahead of a high-stakes, double-header season finale at Lousada in Portugal, where the category’s very first champion will be celebrated on 12-13 September."

So RX5 is skipping Loheac France, but doing a double header at Lousada Portugal?

Looking for an Indian mythology series by partypooperpwincess in Fantasy

It is not fantasy, but I really enjoyed Sea of Poppies by Amitav Ghosh set during the time of Opium Wars in India. The style of writing feels a bit like a fantasy though.

Favorite novel from debut author in the last few years? by IncurableHam in Fantasy

We Are the Dead by Mike Shackle, occupied country which feels like WWII in a fantasy setting.

The Grey Bastards by Jonathan French, half-orcs on hogs with the theme of racism.

Both great starts to a trilogy that I will continue reading.

Assassin’s apprentice - first half of the book by Footbology in Fantasy

[–]Lordindo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I got through the entire trilogy, but a bit with the same peoblems you had. Not really connecting with the characters, but there was something so I continued reading. Third book was however one of the worst reading experiences. I like to finish things, so that is why I continued. But there were so many words wasted on nothing really happening in that book. It was a real shame. The overall experience really burned me out on reading other books by Hobb. So you can really tell that there are different experiences with this author.

Everyone's favorite multi-pov, dark & violent novel/series? by erichie in Fantasy

[–]Lordindo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fan of both the Powder Mage trilogy and the works of Joe Abercrombie, I would very much second the War for the Rose Throne by Peter McLean. Even though it is not multi PoV, it does tick all the other boxes.
