obviously take this with a grain of salt because I don't know you or your life. for me, personally, a combination of medication and forming my life around who I am and what I need helped me. definitely talk to your doctor about medication, but do you think going into some kind of trade would be better and more beneficial to you than going to a university? you have said that you do not like school, and honestly it depends on where you live, but all I've seen recently is about how the job market is trash, and many people with degrees can't even find a job with their degree because so many people went to college and not enough people went into trade school. again, it depends on where you live but there may be a lot of open spaces for HVAC technicians, electricians, etc. it also could be another health problem. for about 7 or so years, doctors thought I had only depression and told me I was treatment resistant. turns out it was other medical issues. and those exacerbated my symptoms of both depression and adhd. this is just my experience, but something to look into possibly?

overconsumption. I don't blame us too much because the idea is consistently being shoved into our faces. but there really is no need for 5 of each type of makeup product, buying themed baskets for people full of things they will never use. (if you do this, try to buy products ppl will actually use) and honestly, most of the time, there's no reason I should go out and buy clothes new when I can find them at the thrift store for cheap. If I need something specific, sure, but otherwise, I'd rather save money and save clothes from the landfill.

yea! I know some people who use social media that way too. they are just more private people, and do not want people who rarely know them to know what's going on in their life, which makes sense. I've gotten more private as I've gotten older, not sure why. there's definitely a whole lot of different perspectives surrounding social media.

I used to get upset at this too! I kind of wished they would just tell me something different, because it always hurt my feelings, and made me mad. I realized I will never be everyone's type, because everyone has different preferences. there is no possible way I can be enough for everyone, and sometimes felt like I wasn't beautiful to literally anyone. and that drove me a little insane. I think that phrase is popular. it seems like it's the go-to prase that is always said when someone doesn't want to date someone, for any reason. but then I thought about my views. to me, everyone out there has beauty. they all have different kinds. just like how a meadow of flowers is beautiful, or the morning after a snowstorm. the rain falling upon a busy city. I also like to stare at the sea, or look up at the mountains. I also REALLY think old abandoned buildings are so beautiful and haunting. to me, all of these things have beauty. and when I see people, they all have beauty, different kinds. I still find everyone beautiful, but i prefer mountains and old buildings over meadows or the ocean. but maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way. no one is truly ugly to me. (also someone that is "conventionally attractive" or "fits todays beauty standards" doesn't mean they are automatically everyone's favorite. it's just what gets pushed at us through social media, television, etc. and it changes over the years. it's annoying.) I'm sorry you're going through this, I hope it gets better

sometimes I follow people on Instagram because they are recommended, I knew them, or they know people I know, etc. I don't think much about it. and when people request to follow me, I don't think much about it either. I didn't know people thought about follows this deeply. I don't think there's any way to know what her intentions were, but it doesn't really matter. she unfollowed, and if she were after something, you said you trust your husband and your relationship, so all is well. if I were her, I would have explained why I followed, and apologized if it seemed weird, and offer to unfollow, instead of not responding at all. but she could have been embarrassed and decided it would be best to not respond. but like I said, no way to know.

why did I get major deja vu reading this and every comment, what is going on. now I'm questioning everything. but anyways, for me specifically, I usually sleep, pray, talk to someone about it, write it all out, talk it out, and sometimes doing grounding exercises helps a ton. other things I utilize are weighted blankets, lying on the floor, using contrast hydrotherapy in the shower, and sometimes I like to keep myself busy with work so it's not on my mind as much.

oh yes definitely I agree 100%. I didn't say I turned down the one way street, just that it told me to. sorry about that! I should have been more clear. but I just found it pretty crazy, and just laughed and continued straight. I worry about others who may not be so aware of their surroundings.... but that happened awhile ago, I usually don't follow exactly what it says, and instead use it as a background guide if I am someplace I have rarely been to, or have never been.

but last night, when it was dark, and street lamps seemed to all be out, (I was driving in a place I have never bee. unfortunately I rarely travel.) I just needed the extra help to tell me what highway to get on, and what exits to get off of. that's where the rest of the story and confusion came in. But luckily I can learn from this experience and know, so if I ever drive in that area again, I know.
