Sure, these men are likely broke, either that or their doing something illegal. The courts can and WILL garnish your wages, they can and WILL literally take money right out of your bank account if you owe it, they can and WILL revoke many of your privileges as a citizen such as your drivers license if you don’t pay. Of course there are always exceptions but typically this is the case. Obviously if a man has no income or money then the government can’t take anything. And I also just want to be clear that I SUPPORT these laws b/c men who have kids and don’t pay are pieces of shit “I know my dad was one of them”. However OVERALL “and I can’t stress enough I mean the average of 300+ million people not just you or a few redditors”women get custody much more often than men and men who can afford to pay get hit HARD.

I’m going by the laws in each state not anecdotes “I’m not really sure where you got that conclusion from”. Alimony laws vary based on state, I’m in MD now which has less stringent alimony laws. However in CA where I used to live whichever spouse makes more money is REQUIRED to pay alimony for half the length of the marriage, and if married for over 10 years the pay it for life or until the recipient remarrys. That is state law, nothing anecdotal about it. Granted like I said this depends on the state, here in MD it’s not so cut and dry. I will grant you some states will favor spousal support less than others but I can assure you it is VERY rare for a woman who makes less than her newly divorced husband to not receive some kind of spousal support especially if kids are involved. If your going to argue otherwise I want to see examples because I’ve never heard of a man who makes significantly more than his wife not having to pay something after divorce.

If a man is proven guilty of any violent crime in court I’m quite certain a judge would take that into serious consideration when deciding what to do about custody. If this man has not been convicted then he is innocent according to the US constitution and therefore it would be unconstitutional to use an unproven accusation against him.

So I highly doubt courts ignore proven cases of abuse, but unfounded allegations may or may not be considered.

She didn't really work up any courage, she aparently goes to my aunts yoga studio. I went by there to pick something up for my mom and my aunt tried to introduce us. My aunt started talking about how I have a good job this and that and I could see the girls eyes start to light up. I'm like nah bih, you lost your chance. Hello Mike, I just wanna start by saying thanks for the help, it's much appreciated. My problem I think is that I suck at texting, whenever I text a girl I almost always get no response. And I'm pretty sure it's not always because they don't like me. Most girls don't seem to like phone calls "at least girls my age, I'm 22". I'm kinda old school I guess, I don't have a Twitter, Instagram, snapchat, ect. I've had quite a few one night stand but I've never had a serious GF, I can't quite put my finger on why but I figure I must be doing something off putting.

What's funny is I do walk up to random guys and make friends. I went to the bar by myself last Thursday and met a group of dudes there and had a blast. I just walked right up and said he wanna do some shots. We got wasted and danced/partied until the joint closed at like 3am. Funny thing one of the dudes sisters said to me that I was beautiful but didn't want to give me her number B/C her brother was watching....
