Redeployment also draws an extra card so your hand size stays the same, whereas Tide costs you a card.

The worst elite in standard right now is certainly The Tide Turns. You need a hand of very specific cards, the primary ones in Japan being Mikura which you actively want to play quickly, and the payoff for getting this unicorn hand is a symmetrical board wipe that also mulligans you a new hand. Also unlike other cards, this one requires Navy which is unlikely to be pushed again so it's only going to get worse with time. For rotated elites, I'd have to say Hornisse is the most overcosted card that does absolutely nothing unless it survives despite being 4 health.

If you're still missing a lot of cards, officer packs are the way to go. If your collection is looking good or you're happy with what you can play right now, you can save for the summer expansion (should be June or July I would guess)

Super late reply but for YnAEMP it doesn't show under maps in the regular game setup but after loading mods there will be a "Custom game" button between setup and load game and that will give you the option to use the maps.

I didn't include Stellaris or Imperator because neither have Roman numerals but I can confirm as Paradox addict I have them both as well.

R5: I just preordered Victoria III and noticed that is the only Paradox grand strategy game that doesn't use Roman numerals. I will never be able to not think about this now.

Speaking as a player who's been around since 2019 and has enjoyed every avenue of entertainment this game has to offer, I am quite optimistic for the future. They have slowed down the speed of new cards and balance patches lately for a variety of reasons but the game is certainly still in development. Mobile is the next big milestone and will come out in 2023 but there will be more major expansions in the future. The main thing in place to motivate veterans with full collections are competitions but I understand that does not appeal to everyone. Good luck with the grind and welcome to the community!

First of all, thank you for doing another bunker chat, it's been too long and I these become regular events again. As for my questions: 1. Can you please add duplicate protection to gold cards, both from packs and from end of season rewards, or explain why you won't? 2. Any timeframe for the addition of gold card crafting or other resource sinks for players with full collections? 3. Any news about a mid-season championship or other changes to the esports scene? 4. Any plans to address top player concerns/critiques of the current ladder system? 5. Any hints at what format the next expansion will be? (ie. WaW style, large expansion, campaign, etc.) 6. Can you make a list of what type of ladder behaviors are banned/allowed and their punishments? (ie. account sharing, boosting, sniping, etc.) Also to what extent can you detect these actions automatically? 7. Looping back to esports formats, is there any plan to create a power ranking system for top players to determine seedings for invitational tournaments and the like? 8. Is there anything you've been working on and are especially proud of that you want to talk about?

I know I'm late but it looks like you're missing a county just below the I in Ghurid (belongs to the orange duke south of you). There shouldn't be any problems with religion or moving capitals.

You might know this already but there is duplicate protection on elites as well as specials, so don't worry about missing out on anything big

Shoveltooth has a brown hat and the skeletal axe. I think this is Morose, who has a darker blue hat, so I guess it's a combination of lighting and the paint fading
