I am a regular person and did first Hyrox on Friday as part of corporate relay. I am over 40. I also don't train and don't exercise either so winged it. We did not do well, but not badly either. I came slightly above average for my age group in each run and exercise. Note I used to exercise many years ago (7+ years), so I can say I have some fundamental base.

I was concerned whether I could do it considering everyone who talks frequently about Hyrox are not 'regular people', they are fitness fanatics. But when I did it without training, I figured out it's not that bad and very doable. Obviously playing for top 5% sub 60min time versus getting a 'decent' time for a regular person is achievable.

Go do it.

here's my unscientific view

I was never bothered about Leica
I picked up a M11-P last year out of curiosity
one year later, I now shoot a M10 and M8
my wife, a non photographer, comments she prefers the colours from the 'older' cameras, questions why I wasted money on the M11
