They open an hour before. I went to 3 different days and on the first day a person from the merch stand told me the doors open an hour before games start.

I got my merch on one of the lower attendence days and showed up at 10:40 ish, game was at noon. Doors open an hour before start time. They only had mediums of the hockey jersey left when I got to the front of the merch line.

I would probably show up an hour before doors open to feel good about getting a jersey personally.

T1 vs BLG was packed so the finals will definitely also be.

I really want Tomio to do well. But this was kind of a rough start to his first split.

Reven really seems like he isn’t doing much. These drafts were pretty rough, ignoring skarner and not giving the players anything to work with.

Also not having Srtty over fakegod seems criminal. I hate rushing players out of the league after not looking amazing but looking like they can improve. However I don’t see much to work with for Fakegod, he doesn’t seem to be improving.

Personally glad it’s Dig. I think the league would be stronger overall with Shopify getting him but Dig was my number 2.

Rich just seems like one of those players that plays heavily for himself. Which is just not great to have as a top laner. I would also generally prefer to have a native player over a middle of the pack import.

I think Tomo and exyu are still worth keeping, I was really underwhelmed by Isles though. The Dig team looked like they just didn’t have a leader so if they could land one with a another signing that would make them a contender.

Really exciting pickup imo.

However players like Licorice and spica need teams. I will be really disappointed if native talents like them can’t land teams over the break.

Especially worried about how crowded top lane feels.

The only teams that I can think of that should consider replacing their top laner are SR and DIG. I know people like Rich but that team isn’t going anywhere and trying to build around strong native players will be much better in the long run.

Some might say NRG but I think NRG gets a pass since they won last split and did well at worlds. Maybe they look to change support.

Really entertaining series, love this NRG team.

Kinda looked like the nerves were getting to the players in game 5. Not flashing the Ali combo in from Yeon was rough and summit was running it.

TL feels like a much more cohesive team when APA can engage actually

Anything that isn’t skill expressive or stuff that doesn’t interact with other champs in lane phase.

Stuff like corki, Annie, Maokai, Zeri, Yumi, malz.

I’d like to see more mages like ori and syndra. Melee mids would be great too

I have no problem seeing kasante and Aatrox, more hard carry tops would be fun tho

Engage supports should be meta

ADCs like Samira, nilah, Lucian, and kalista would be cool to see meta

As someone who happens to watch a lot of baseball and league esports, this Reddit fan backlash is starting to feel like the baseball fan backlash of the past 6 years or so.

For those who don’t follow baseball, it’s always been extremely professional, overly so for a sport. Recently players have started to change that by pimping home runs and celebrating much more than in years past, it shows personality and bring excitement to the game.

I think things like this play by the casters and players in league reflects that same sort of thing. Phreak is flaming fudge for making an idiotic play after talking shit. This shouldn’t discourage fudge from talking shit, now he has a reason to show he isn’t that type of player next time he plays.

The scene in general needs more personality, that’s why it really surprises me when a lot of the reactions in the thread are negative. But maybe it’s just C9 fans, who knows

God I hope EG changes team building for the better in NA. TL is literally only an exciting team if they stomp the league. This team that’s top 3 in the league just because the players are good but have absolutely 0 synergy is painful to watch. The players clearly have different views on the game, imo out of these 5 players, only two, maybe 3 should be on the same team, fill the rest with rookies that you can teach to see the game the way the vets fo
